"We had such a wonderful time at The Elk Lodge during our 8 day stay. It was the 'perfect formula' for us, our adult children and young grandchildren, (ages 4-9).Located at the top of a mountain, the description given was very accurate. "We loved our weekend stay at Overlook Lodge! The house was perfect for our big group and great proximity to Beech Mountain! "

"This is a great house. Chris's group really thought of everything to make a stay here welcoming and accommodating. We enjoyed hanging out and cooking our own meals here as much as anything. The porches and yard made it so relaxing it was hard to get too ambitious. With kids it will be a bit more active which the house is ready to accommodate also. I look forward to returning with the whole brood!!!"

"One of our kiddos wanted to take her Senior Trip to the Smokies, and this cabin was perfect for us. I NEVER go barefooted in a cabin, but I did at this one. The floors were the cleanest we have ever had. We set new high scores on the arcade game, but I'm sure that you can beat them. We played pool, and we played in the river. It was close to everything that we needed and wanted! It was great!"

"The home was very nice. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the porch looking at the mountains. The kids loved the game room, and spent a lot of time down there when we were at the house. Good location to activities. It was great to have a nice big table, we would put both tables together so all 11 people could eat together.
