Family Vacay

Great stay at Riverside Lodge with our large family of 10. Loved the beautiful views with so many activities for everyone: ping pong, foosball, swimming, tubing, fishing, etc. The lodge was clean, well-stocked & provided plenty of seating for a large family. S’mores by the fire pit & deer eating out of our hands were highlights. Thanks to the Anthony’s for sharing such a beautiful home & attending to all the details.

Beautiful large family getaway

This was a great trip for our large family. Plenty of room for everyone and provided a very warm feel. A beautiful view of the river as well. So happy with the stay that we’re talking about making this an annual trip for us.

Fall family vacation

Wonderful house

We had a great week in this well-kept house. Everything was as advertised and 9 people fit very comfortably. The owner was very responsive to questions during the stay. Would stay here again if we decide to go back to the area.

Great stay

We had a nice time staying in this house. The house was clean and had everything needed. The owner was quick to respond to any messages. The pools inside the community were nice and the house was close enough to stores in case you need groceries. Overall we had a great time!

Nice Weekend Get Away

Very nice cabin, with great views, and close to activities and restaurants. The host is very easy to reach and was so accommodating whenever we needed something. Lots of amenities at the cabin. Ping pong, fire pit, Wii, hot tub, grill, etc. everything you need to have a fun weekend with family and friends.

Great stay!

Our stay at the cabin was awesome! It was exactly how it was described and Kali was wonderful to work with. We had absolutely no problems but she checked in to make sure everything was ok. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back porch listening to the river and enjoyed feeding the deer in the evenings. We had a lot of laughs and fun around the foosball and ping pong tables. We will definitely be back!!!

Perfect Fall Getaway

Our home was ravished by a tornado and Kali was king enough to let us enter the cabin asap. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I’ll definitely be visiting again. The whole family loved it.

Super comfortable home with lots of room

The house was clean comfortable and well equipped. We were 5 adults and 5 teens. Our host was super responsive to questions. Checking in was easy and the local area had plenty of shopping close by & a beautiful movie theatre for rainy days. We had a great time. The only thing hard was the neighborhood roads: steep twisty & narrow. We are flatlanders from FL. There was wildlife everywhere which was awesome. Overall it was wonderful.

Heavenly Cabin

Really nice cabin. 10 of us and we had plenty of room. Great kitchen. Two living areas are useful. Teens had a blast in the game room and loft. The geese and deer are memorable. We loved the River cool and the jacuzzi warm. Will be returning.

Fun family getaway

The kitchen is very well stocked in this cabin. I took more than I needed because I couldn’t tell what all the cabin had from the listing. We enjoyed the pools although the process to get amenities cards was at first awkward until they changed it the day of our stay. Deer are plentiful and tame.

The best cabin

Our group stays at a cabin in the mountains every year. This cabin was the best we have ever stayed in! Beautiful, clean, personal touches from the owner, big rooms, great sounds by the River! We will be back!

Will not rent another cabin on top of a mountain. The cabin should have a chair in bedroom to help with dressing. The motor on the hot tub wakes you up at night - it is too loud.

Space To Spread Out..

*See must-know helpful tips below. While some vacation rentals offer many bedrooms to accommodate the number of people needed, this one does that and more. Two very large living rooms (main level and downstairs). The beds are modern and comfortable. Zero complaints! *Helpful Tips - 1. Google Maps is near useless once inside the gates so use Waze or Apple Maps. 2. Deer are everywhere, be prepared to stop at any time. 3. Nest DigitalThermostat: slide finger on right side outer edge of the thermostat to set temperature, then tap it. 4. Downstairs shower: for hot water, slide small nub towards the cold (blue) side, not the red side. 5. Going down the cascading stairs to the river is a piece of cake, walking back up may require some time. Seating is strategically placed along the way to pace yourself. 6. River access is small but manageable. Best for launching a tube or raft, not swimmable or easily walked in. Enjoy your stay!

Family of 11 had a wonderful time.

I think the deer visiting every morning and evening was the highlight. Some of the family made it down to the river. I could not, the 150 stairs was way too much for me. Still a beautiful view and very relaxing

Everything we needed!

We had a great time, 6 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 5, there was plenty of space and things to do for all of us. The spacious main room/kitchen was our favorite, but the ping pong table upstairs and the game room downstairs were awesome. We had tournaments going on the foosball table all week! Personally, I loved the hot tub! We went hiking in the morning and tubing right off the back yard in the afternoon and then I hit the hot tub! Bliss! Yes, navigating was a little challenging and we quickly learned to use either Waze or Apple maps as Google didn’t work, and to give extra time to accommodate the twists and turns, but it was all part of the adventure. Kali was very communicative and that’s very important! I highly recommend this place!
