An absolutely beautiful home and views. Communication with the host was outstanding. A few reasons I didn't give a 5-star review. Even though the home was amazing, I wouldn't call it "Luxury".1. We arrived much later than we meant to, after midnight. The next morning, when we got up, we found a bare cupboard. There was a nice Keurig, but no sugar or creamer. In fact, there was nothing in the pantry. Maybe had we gotten there earlier in the day, it wouldn't have been an issue, but an overnight storm brought sleet and snow. Dollar General was 10-15 minutes away, and Wal-Mart was 30 minutes away.2. I grew up not far from here, and I knew to expect insects, but there were Ladybugs everywhere in the home. I could not find a broom to sweep them up and put them outside. Walking in the dark was at times uncomfortable because I was constantly stepping on Ladybugs.3. None of the coat hangers matched (some wire, some wooden, and some broken), and there were not enough of them. No big deal, except there were no drawers to put clothes in, save the bedside tables.4. I absolutely loved the fireplace, but some wood for one fire would have been nice.5. One of the outside doors didn't have a hook to keep it closed, so when the wind blew, it would bang open and closed very loudly.Would I stay here again? Probably. Are my comments petty? Maybe. But when I see "Luxury" in the title, I expect some luxuries for at least one day until a grocery run can be made.
