Can’t rate this property high enough. Beautifully decorated, had everything we could want, including great games and hot tub. The gated community with gravel road to house just added a little rustic charm we wanted to feel like a quick getaway to the foothills. It is just around the corner from Old Toccoa Farm golf club, a beautiful course. We will definitely go back.

The house looks even better in person than it did in the pictures! Very clean! We loved that the train from Blue Ridge goes by in back of the house about 4 times a day. It was so fun to see it!

Family Getaway

Regrettably, our stay at this cabin did not meet our expectations. The property's listing descriptions and pictures were inaccurate, particularly regarding the river access. While the river is visible from the property, a steep cliff at the edge necessitates a lengthy, challenging hike to access it, making it unsuitable for families with young children. Moreover, the gated community's roads are steep and poorly maintained, with broken gravel, rocks, and mud/clay, requiring an all-wheel-drive vehicle for safe navigation. Inside the cabin, we encountered cleanliness issues. The interior was excessively dusty, indicating a superficial cleaning approach. The outdoor furniture was also dirty, with accumulated bugs and pollen, suggesting inadequate maintenance. A major concern was the property's insecure entry points and lack of alarm system. Most windows were unlocked upon arrival. It is essential to note that guests must provide their own firewood, and the grill operates on propane with a direct house hookup. Our goal was to find a cabin for repeat bookings, but we would not rebook this specific property. We intend to return to the Blue Ridge area, however.

Perfect!

This cabin was perfect for our family. Our daughter got engaged right on the back deck. It was so beautiful! I highly recommend this cabin. So clean and a great location. Close to town and wineries. We hand the best time! Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay on the Toccoa River

Our family of five had a wonderful stay! The listing was as described—had everything we needed to be comfortable for our weeklong stay. The river is a “hike” down the hill (the path is over by the fire pit) and you can also access by driving to the neighborhood entry point. During our stay, we enjoyed lots of downtime, tubing, kayaking (started at the dam and got out at the neighborhood), boating on Lake Blue Ridge, and fishing. This is our second stay in the area, we’ll definitely be back and would be happy to be at this cabin again!

What an incredible place!

My wife and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway and it was incredible. It's a newer home and is immaculately furnished. The covered back deck is incredible...we could have stayed out there all day. On top of that the rental agency has this place fully stocked and has an entire book on hand with instructions for things around the house (i.e. how to work TV's, WiFi, etc.) as well as local amenities and activities. Can't recommend this place enough!

Amazing location and Property

Overall the property along with its location was the best we have been to yet In the Blue Ridge area. The outdoor living area on the back deck was absolutely amazing , the game room was also a great touch to have at the rental. As far as location you could not beat it! We also loved the little community River access area. My only complaint for the property would be the the Wi-Fi was not good at all and there was literally one bathroom towel per person and we only had 6 of us. Besides that everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the house and surrounding areas ! Definitely a 5 star property!

Beautiful house

The house is absolutely beautiful. It’s furnished so nice and everything was very clean. we had a great time. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather so that limited what we could do. One of the nights a horrible storm came through and we lost power and TV and Internet for half a day. However no complains about the property itself. Great house!

First time in Blue Ridge

Excellent property! The back deck, jacuzzi, and game room were our favorite areas! Small touches like comfortable lounging throws and towels for the jacuzzi were a great touch! Took a while to get the TVs set up, but rental company was easily accessible for assistance. Walk to the river was nice and not too long. Overall, I highly recommend this property! It's close to everything we wanted to do.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous! It has highend furnishings & decor. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds are very comfy. Pictures don’t do it justice. We are definitely looking forward to returning here & Blue Ridge is a wonderful town to visit!

Weekend Getaway

This property is amazing! You have to see this place in person..wven better than the pictures! There is so much space and so many fun things to do at the cabin with friends or family. We go to the mtns for our twins birthday every year and Toccoa River Mist is now THE place we will go from now on. The process to ck in and the instand access to the property was seemless! We even received a call the day before from the property mgmt company asking if we had everything we needed before our stay. Excellent customer service and an excellent wknd getaway for our family!! Thank you!!!

Beautiful home and great location.

This property was perfect for our family. The location was great. It was close to downtown Blue ridge, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. We had a wonderful time relaxing at the house and exploring the town.

Absolutely stunning cabin!

My husband and I rented this cabin, and let me tell you - the pictures do NOT do this cabin justice! It’s even more incredible in person! We had everything we needed, everything was spotless, and we loved sitting on the back deck playing cards and enjoying the gorgeous fall weather. The beds were amazing and the cabin was full of thoughtful touches. 15/10 would recommend! 😍

Beautiful space to unwind

We needed a break from the stressful daily grind. This place offered many Amenities to get away from reality. The game room was fantastic and the outdoor living area was fabulous. We have already discussed trying to stay here again.

Cabin beautiful. Setting lovely but no direct access to river. Road down washed out

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin great. Disappointed there was no direct access to the river for fishing and road we found leading down was washed out. Failed to make advance reservations for the train ride and to rent a pontoon so didn’t get to do either one. Minimal area for fishing on the lake

Place has it all

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. The house has all one could want: gorgeous covered porch, fire places, game room, and a big open space for family to gather. We were thrilled to discover that the River Ridge Dr properties have access to a private park on the Toccoa River. I recommend this property for all ages.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Close to everything.

The cabin was decorated beautifully and so close to town. It was spotless. The drive was difficult without a four wheel drive. A paved road would’ve been nice, but overall was wonderful. The hot tub and game room was a lot of fun. Anyone would be happy there.
