Streaming in the Woods - Level 2 EV Charger!

  • Settle in to peace and serenity at the top of Cherry Log Mountain. Inside, the cabin is outfitted with high speed wifi and multiple work spaces. Outside, copious amounts of deck space and rocking chairs beckon. As your day comes to a close, crawl under a blanket and drift into a book by the roaring fire in either place (indoor or outdoor).

    This cabin is thoughtfully outfitted for productivity. We have a level 2 EV charger on the property to recharge your battery overnight! You will enjoy high speed wi-fi, multiple workstation opportunities, everything you need to stay connected and efficient.

    The extravagant outdoor fireplace will be the perfect backdrop for any gathering as your day comes to a close. Cuddle up under a blanket and let the fire dance while you stream from the smart tv outside.

    There are plenty of opportunities for play once your work day is done, whether you want to hike the Benton MacKaye trail (a stone's throw away from the cabin), explore downtown Blue Ridge or kick your feet up by the fireplace.

    2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make this cabin a good fit for traveling couple(s) or a small family.

    You will have full access to the cabin and surrounds during your stay. Beautiful views, hiking trails and wild animals are all waiting just beyond the cabin's threshold.

It felt like home!

Wonderful stay! The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Communication before we arrived was excellent. We will definitely go back and recommend this cabin to others!

Great property

It’s everything VRBO says it is and more. The outside deck is amazing and we spend a lot of our cabin time there. Megan is super responsive and we fully intend to stay here again soon.

Streaming in the Woods

The four of us had a very comfortable stay in a very lovely setting. Cabin was clean and well-stocked. Host, Megan, was very responsive. And it is nestled in the mountains between Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

Great Cabin

Great cabin

Secluded, cozy cabin with beautiful views driving up the mountain to it. Comfortable beds and well stocked. It is so quiet that you can hear the falling leaves hit the ground. Wonderful outdoor fireplace. It is a short drive to the town of Blue Ridge or Ellijay.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods

I've always said that I want to live in a forest and this cabin is perfect for the couple (or small family) that wants to have a cozy stay among the trees. The decor and attention to detail are evident everywhere. It's "the little things" that count! comfy bed, great shower, wood burning fireplaces inside and out, good wifi and streaming TV, etc. ... and the excellent communication from the host is a major plus! I'll be looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful Blue Ridge!

This cabin made us feel as if we were living in a treehouse.Well-equipped and comfortable from the outset, we actually looked forward to returning each evening after a day's worth of adventures.Make sure to budget time for the careful drive up and down, as the last 2 miles are one lane, which adds to the feel of being isolated, yet plenty close to the main roads and an easy 4-lane drive to downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay.We enjoyed starting, or ending each day sitting on the porches and absorbing the natural sounds. Even evening rain showers added to the solitude.We booked this cabin for the EV charging convenience, which removed any anxiety for our daily trips. But the wonderful, true cabin feel made us not want to leave, and start looking ahead to another visit to northwest Georgia, and this log-cabin treehouse in the mountains.

Great cabin

I really enjoyed the stay at the cabin very much. The manager was great to work with. She prepared us with good information before the trip so we weren't caught off guard. The only negative that I had, was not about the cabin itself, but the cabins on the mountain are all a little too packed together for my taste. But not even that would be a deal breaker for me as this was such a wonderful stay. I just wish the trip could have been longer. If you do stay here I recommend going to Mystic Mountain Pizza!

Cozy and comfortable and clean

Perfect stay. We never felt like we were staying in someone else’s cabin, with their stuff hanging around. This was more like an all-inclusive-resort feel. Very clean and de-cluttered. If you are not used to driving mountain roads get there before sundown. First time can be daunting in the dark. Roads were paved the whole way, just narrow and steep. Kitchen had everything we needed. I took my own cast iron skillet just in case but didn’t need it. Owner was quick to answer questions, like how to turn on string lights at back porch. (Switch is on outside of post at top of stairs btw). Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect

Everything was perfect for us. The cabin is clean and just the right size for 2-4 people. The outdoor space is great and the kitchen is well stocked. The internet worked well and we could not have been more satisfied. We loved that there was a beautiful hiking trail just outside the door and around the corner. Also, just walking in the area around the cabin was lovely. Megan was super helpful and accommodating. We had no problems while we were there, but I am confident if there had been a problem the Megan would have be very responsive. I will say, this is a cabin for those who don't mind being off the beaten track just a bit. This is one of the reasons that we loved it!!! That being said, it is within easy (15-20 minutes) driving distance of anything you might need, ie. restaurants, grocery stores, shopping etc. Thank you Megan for sharing your cabin with us. I was with my best friend for this stay but I look forward to bringing my husband for a visit. Actually, I already tried to re-book. Unfortunately (for us) the cabin was already booked the weekend that we had planned to come, but we will check again later. Thanks again. It was lovely!!!

this was a great cabin with beautiful scenery. It was stocked with everything you need and there was delivery available from local grocery store. We were a family of four, two adults and two kids. it was family-friendly with games available and Wi-Fi that worked great. The kitchen had a regular functioning coffee maker. Just bring ground coffee, not pods. The outside large deck needed a little cleaning, but not too bad. The space inside was a bit limited. We put the pillows from the bed in the closet because there was no room in the bedroom. Then the closet was full with no where to put any clothes because of the pillows and linen chest of drawers. Overall, it was a very pleasant property. Try to use the roads recommended by the host notes. We ended up with a flat from a nail picked up on another road that lead to the cabin.
