This was our 3rd visit to Blue Ridge, and each trip just gets better and better! Our stay at the Modern Cabin was wonderful from the time we checked in to the time we left. Brock was an amazing host who was communicative, friendly, and welcoming. The views from both the upstairs porch and downstairs porch were breathtaking, and were plenty spacious for our family. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed! We would certainly stay here again, even our dog loved it!

Great time at Skyloft

Communication with Brock was fantastic. Skyloft was exactly what my family was looking for in a mountain retreat, The views from the both decks were amazing. Evenings on the deck were my favorite. The home was just the right size for us and came equipped with everything we needed. Couldn't have asked for more!

Amazing views, beautiful space

Brock and Kim's cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway in Blue Ridge! We would happily stay again. The views from the cabin are majestic as advertised. We enjoyed the cabin's amenities, grilling dinner every night and eating on the balcony. The dual primary suite layout was ideal for our group of 3 adults and would be for two couples. The third bedroom is a bunkroom; most suitable for older children / teenagers. Multiple times during our stay, we said that the cabin was so nice we would have been happy to spend all of our time there--enjoying views and socializing on one of the decks. The cabin is conveniently located to Lake Blue Ridge, where we rented a pontoon boat. We also hiked to a couple of waterfalls in the area. The cabin is fully stocked with laundry and kitchen supplies and was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here!

Lovely Cabin

This was such a great cabin for our stay in Blue ridge. It was exactly as described and had beautiful views of the mountains. Communication from the hosts was excellent, and we can’t recommend this cabin enough!

Perfect Family Getaway

Property was just as described! Clean, modern and perfect for a family vacation. The downstairs screened in area is perfect for the kids to run around without worrying about them falling off the side of the mountain, plus the bed swing was such a relaxing experience. Owner sent check in and out instructions in a timely manner and made everything quick and easy. We will definitely be coming back!

Communication with the manager was excellent, and the view was amazing. Cabin was well kept and had nice amenities. There were a few minor issues during our stay that were quickly addressed by the manager. Lastly the cleanliness left a little to be desired in a few spots. Otherwise a great place for our honeymoon.

Amazing views of the mountains

Beautiful and spacious with breathtaking Mountain View’s. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge, GA. Very responsive host. The whole family had a great time.

Great property and amazing view!

The title says it all! The property was well maintained with a few luxury amenities to enjoy. Although cold and cloudy, the view from every room was the Smoky mountains, so waking up to another one of God's creations was great! We did have some minor issues, but Brock was quick to respond. The neighbors were very welcoming when we took our daily walk. Great time!

Stylish and Comfortable

This is a beautiful home. The view is gorgeous, as is the style of the home inside and out. The beds are very comfortable. The home was clean and had everything that we needed. It was peaceful and quiet, the perfect place to relax. The outdoor fireplace was perfect for morning coffee and the hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings. We really enjoyed this home and would love to stay again in the future! Thank you to our hosts!

Beautiful cabin and cozy the view was amazing

We enjoyed our stay so much wish I booked it for longer the fire place was cozy and warm the appliances were up to date we didn't need anything just like the comforts of our own home minus the views and the warm Jacuzzi I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a private intimate setting with the luxury of a 5 star hotel Thank you for a wonderful experience

Best of Blue Ridge

Great home with outstanding views. You are facing southeast, so you don’t get the afternoon sun on the back porch which makes it enjoyable all day long. Short drive into town (10 minutes). Two large bedrooms upstairs and one down stairs connected by outdoor stairs. Host Brock was great! Great five star location!

Nice amenities but filthy!!!

The property itself is gorgeous. Cabin is well decorated and the mountain view is beautiful. Unfortunately, the mouse poop covering the dishes and cookware left us feeling icky. We had a very short stay...2 nights so we managed without needing more than a few coffee mugs. If we had plans for a week long stay with casual dinners prepared in the cabin, we would have had to sanitize every single dish, pot, pan, and utensils. Not much of a vacation in that case. We reached out to the property owner to let him know what we found. We even sent pics of the animal droppings in several cabinets and the microwave area. We told him that overall the facilities are great, but we felt that we should be refunded the $200 cleaning fee. The cabin wasn't clean...just picked up. He told us that he was sorry for the experience but mice are just part of being in the mountains. While that might be true, a contract with a quality pest control company and adequate attention to detail when cleaning would make all the details. The owner asked for pictures, which we sent, and we never heard another word. The owner doesn't seem to care about guest satisfaction. We gave him the opportunity to make this right prior to leaving this review. We never would have mentioned this otherwise, but the gas fireplace in the living room didn't work, the railings on the deck were damaged and in need of repair for safety issues, the couches & pillows were covered in spots and stains. Fixable but management doesn't care.
