Enjoyed the house and area! Train, creeks and parks, and drive in were fun!! Home allowed us to relax, talk, play pool, and enjoy the views and beautiful weather. Hope to go back again!!

There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and spread out. We liked having the nice movie room, game room with pool table and arcade, a great fire pit, awesome wood burning fireplace for the cold nights we had, and scenic views from the 3 decks. The beds were all pretty comfortable.We did find some areas that needed improvement or just good to knows that we found while we were there: 1. Just about all of the dishes were dirty upon arrival with food or grease still on dishes, pans, pots, cups and silverware. So, we had to run a load in the dishwasher shortly after arrival and wash all the dishes we used for meal prep before we could use them. 2. There were no kitchen cleaning supplies to wipe down areas or even sweep up (no broom or dustpan).3. The hot tub is outdated with disintegrating head cushions. It was also not filled to the jets. So, this was another thing we had to fill upon arrival. 4. The refrigerator is its own issue requiring frequent attempts to keep it closed. So, we always had to press extra firmly on the refrigerator doors to make sure it closed-quite a hassle after the first 5 times having to do it. Also, there’s no water line run to the refrigerator. So, no automatic ice machine or filtered water.5. The house is on well water which is understandable but it appears to be an older system with a low end filter on it. The water is often rusty brown coming through shower and smells of iron. So, without filtered water it tastes bad when drinking.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Our boys loved the game room and the hot tub but the movie theatre room was a huge hit. The close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge was great. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of of space inside and outside of the house. There was also a great gameroom for kids as well as adults. The hot tub was a great place to relax as well.The host was awesome. He corresponded with me before, during and after my trip to make sure that all was well and that i wanted for nothing.I would definitely recommend this cabin and will be returning in the future, hopefully sooner than later.

We had a nice stay. Cabin was nicely sized for our group of 12. Plenty of space. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit, sitting on the back porch at gazing at the lovely view. Kitchen had everything but needs a better cleaning. The fridge was a pain with the beeping. There is even a note on the fridge warning of this. You have to make sure its closed tightly or you will get a constant beeping. Kids didn't always shut hard enough. While we really enjoyed our stay, to leave an honest review I must mention the negatives. Cabin needs a deep cleaning. Mildew on shower curtains was very disheartening. Such a cheap fix with a dollar store curtain liner. Stains on the mattress covers. The hot tub was very dirty. The water wasn't even clear. There are no televisions in the bedrooms, so if you like a tv in bed, forget that idea. Little touches need some attention. All in all, we had a good time and were happy however it could have been so much better if the place was cleaned properly.

At one time, I’m sure the house was lovely. But it is on the sales market and is clearly being neglected. It was well equipped and a great size for a large group. We were there for a work retreat and the layout was perfect for our group of 7 coworkers. Unfortunately, the house was dirty, dusty, and not well maintained. We were disappointed with the outside areas. So many spiders and cobwebs that you could not sit on the porches. The yard around the firepit was so overgrown that we didn’t go down to it. In the kitchen, the dishwasher door fell to the ground when opened, dishes and cookware were put away still dirty, the toaster and coffeemaker were filthy. The refrigerator wouldn’t close correctly so the door alarm was constant. Flooring throughout the home was very dirty. The bathmats were unclean and the shower grout was very moldy. Half of the theater seats were not working. Again, this could be a beautiful vacation spot with some attention to cleanliness and maintenance. I’ve never written a negative review but I felt it was important for others to know the current reality of the property.

Weekend cabin getaway

This was an extremely spacious and beautiful cabin that allowed my large group to have their own space but also hang out with each other. It is close to stores and restaurants but still has the seclusion of being in the woods!

Would like to express my opinion on our stay. First off the house is not meant for 12 people. Though we were only 11, 2 of us slept on the sofa due to flimsy bunk bed. Fotos were deceiving. Thought it would have a larger living and dining. The grills outside were open and not clean. Worst part was the dishwasher which never worked and we ended up washing dishes and had to do takeouts. Bathroom leakage was another annoyance. Outdoor chairs were dirty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is conveniently located to hiking (about 10 minute drive) and downtown Blue Ridge (about 10 minute drive). The house is very quiet and the views are gorgeous. The home was comfortable and had lots of conveniences and extras - including game room and fire pit. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us. We would stay here agin!

Perfect Stay – Beautiful Home, Thoughtful Hosts, Unforgettable Experience!

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for two nights to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and it was the perfect getaway. Nestled in the mountains, the location was peaceful and serene—exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with plenty of room for our family to relax. We especially loved spending time in the movie and game rooms. One of the highlights of our trip was riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, which was conveniently located less than 15 minutes away. The host was responsive throughout our stay, quickly answering any questions we had, and provided clear check-in and checkout instructions that made everything smooth and stress-free. This stay was a wonderful blend of comfort, fun, and natural beauty—highly recommended!

Great place for large family or large group of friends

We enjoyed the large game room. All the bed rooms were large and the bed were comfortable. We were traveling with our six adult children and a couple of son-in-law‘s. We mainly stayed at the house cook family, favorite meals, Played games and enjoyed quality time with each other. We saw several deer from the back porch ,the hot tub was great and the theater room was pretty cool. The host answered any questions I emailed them and the pictures are accurate on the website.

Awesome birthday weekend for my daughter in Blue Ridge

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was in a great location and suited all of our needs. We enjoyed playing pool and the girls enjoyed getting in the hot tub. We love shopping downtown Blue Ridge and I did a little fly fishing on the Taccoa. Nicholas is an excellent host.

Amazing Stay

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! It was exactly the relaxing getaway we needed. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings made it even better—we spent our time unwinding and enjoying the beautiful scenery.The host, Nicholas, was great—responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at MTN Views! The house was spacious enough for our family of 14 with plenty of extra room to boot. The pictures do not show all of the amenities of this great property. Our family really enjoyed the open kitchen layout and our kids loved the game room and theater room. There wasn’t a detail left out in planning the setup of this wonderful cabin. Nicholas was a great host and we can’t wait to visit again.
