Check. 12 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Livin’ is easy… access cuz you want enough gravel to tell you’re in the mountains, but not so much you need tire chains. The views and the house were amazing! The overall house could have been cleaned a little better and there were some roaches around. The host was great and communicated very well. Our overall stay was good.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with gorgeous surroundings that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the trip.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Blue Ridge!

Absolutely a great house and a fabulous stay!!! Very relaxing and a wonderful retreat for the holidays. Only suggestion get there during the daylight....it's really dark on the mountain at night.....took us a hot minute to find it.....:)

PERFECT for a short getaway from the city to reset. Cabin has all the amenities but still feels rustic. Clean and comfortable beds. LOVED waking up to have our coffee on the dock by the pond.

Beautiful and perfect stay to get away from the business of life!! It was a beautiful cabin. There are some spots along the deck that are a little sketchy because it’s older, but just be mindful of it! One of the kayaks were popped as well so we could only use one. (Not a deal breaker for us!) everything else was great and cozy! You can’t beat the view for morning coffee!!

Beware of this property. I wish the house were even a little bit ok because the lake is beautiful. We left after one night. The pictures are deceiving. It is very dark with little light figures or natural lighting. There were roaches in several rooms including the kitchen as well as spiders in every corner. The floors were dusty and the deck was covered in debris. The gate to the deck was broken, the paddle board and kayak were deflated, the paddle boat was disgusting. All of the furniture was musty and something not even goodwill would take. It really is a shame because the deck by the lake and the fishing were really special. We rented the extra room but it wasn't unlocked when we got there. I could go on but you get the idea. Additionally we were very confused with communication as we reached out to Scott and his property manager and they were both very unresponsive, taking hours to address concerns. Overall it was a terrible experience to celebrate my sons 6th birthday.

Exactly as described. We had an excellent stay, even with power outage for about 2 hours, which can happen unexpectedly anywhere. Place was very comfortable and nice.

Ended up having to stay an extra night due to car problems but Scott made it so easy for us! Great time and beautiful place to stay!
