Great views the cabin had everything you could want for a relaxing week in the northern Georgia mountains, hot tub was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing, the host Matt does a great job of communicating and we had no issues at all! Worth the drive from south Florida.

Stunning view. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy. No problems with appliances, getting into the cabin, and amenities. Plenty of dish soap , laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, bug spray, spices etc. available. The hot tub was balanced. Owner provided great communication and directions to the property. 10/10. Definitely recommend and we plan to go back.

My 77 year old father and I wanted a dog-friendly place in the mountains to vacation for a few days and looked here as an alternative to our familiar North Carolina options. We had a wonderful time at Matt’s cabin! Google Maps got us there, no problem, but I’d suggest orienting yourself on the map first and to arrive with daylight if possible. The roads are manageable, but curvy and narrow with some steep edges. Read the directions provided ahead of time. Keep your eyes open, we saw deer along the road to welcome us to Cherry Log. Check-in very easy! Beautiful cabin right from the entrance. Well supplied kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Screened in porch and hot tub were perfect. Even in summer with nights at 70 degrees, hot tub at warm setting was still amazing at sunset. No issue with bugs or mosquitos! Beautiful mountain view inside and from patio. House is senior friendly, except upstairs which is a sleeper bonus/game room and bathroom. Very comfortable and open living area / kitchen for lounging. Very responsive host throughout! We accidentally left a cup, and he and his cleaner shipped it back to us. What more could you ask for?!Enjoyed the local dog park, hiking, breweries, downtown Blue Ridge and recommend William’s Tire Shop if you run into trouble. We needed a patch. Would highly recommend the cabin!

Wonderful stay

The cabin is wonderful.There were deer everywhere. The view is endless. We loved the rocking chair on porch, hadcto come home and order one for my self. We had a wonderful time and also went to ,the lilly pad and had a great time there . The people that run it are wonderful with the kids and my dogs. I will be looking to stay in the cabin again soon. Thanks Sonya and Charlie

Cozy remote getaway - perfect mountain escape

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, remote cabin! Tucked away in the mountains, it offered the perfect blend of peace and comfort. The drive up was scenic and full of wildlife — we spotted several deer along the way, which was such a treat.The cabin itself was exactly what we were hoping for: cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, and the screened-in porch quickly became our favorite spot to relax and take in the fresh mountain air. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the cute, rustic decor throughout — it gave the whole place a warm, homey feel.My son especially enjoyed our nearby adventures, including a fun visit to the Bigfoot museum and playing at the 2nd story indoor golf course. It was a great mix of quiet downtime and unique local attractions.We’re already hoping to return for another peaceful getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort!
