Great location, clean and lots to do
My family and I had a short stay. The cabin has 3 levels and plenty of room to spread out. The pool table was great and we enjoyed the short hike to the river. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely come back.

We had relaxing time at the cabin. The location and amenities were great! The only problem was it needs to be cleaned a little better. The cob webs hanging off the blinds and in the corners of the main floor bedroom were strange. It would be hard to miss when cleaning. Also we were finding 4 or 5 dead wasps in the kitchen every morning so be careful barefoot.

Good Location but needs house needs care
This property is in a great location for shopping and eating out in downtown Blue Ridge, but needs some care. The yard and porches need upkeep and the interior needs a deep cleaning as well as repairs. When we arrived about 15-20 min early we assumed the house was ready since nobody was there, however we soon found the home had not been cleaned after the last group had checked out. After a call to the owner someone we did come to clean about an hour later. She was very nice and apologetic, but of course it took several hours for her to clean. The river area is beautiful, but quite a long walk especially back up hill. We did take our ATV so this was not a problem for us.

Great stay on the river
Property was beautiful - farther from the water than I assumed but the cabin was lovely with great outdoor space. The drive down to the water can be a tad daunting but well worth the trouble. So convenient to town as well!

Great location
This property has a perfect location to town to go shopping or out for meals etc. I will say the walk down to the river and especially pond is not for everyone. Some in our party had to be driven up and down. Bring an iron if you want one. There are 2 ironing boards but no iron. We really enjoyed our stay.

Disappointment
House was nice well made yellow pine. Since the house was sold a few months ago, do not expect the same amenities. There were only 3 drinking glasses had to call for those. The satellite dish did not work until Wednesday. The repairman could not get there sooner. There was no "path" to the river or pond unless you are a hiker! The floors and decks were filthy. We all had brown feet and socks! Spider webs on the kitchen light and all the decks. No paper towels or toilet paper as promised. The bar downstairs did not have a refrigerator but looked like one had been there. Overall, the house needs a good deep cleaning! There is only a couch and love seat in the den for seating. The refridgerator in kitchen does not have an icemaker. No pantry for food. The stairs are very steep. Would not suggest this place for seniors or small children.

Hi Cathy, thank you for your feedback. As we spoke with you earlier, we apologize we were not aware the last owner had send you a detailed list of everything the owner was providing for you, and since it is different than what we supply our guests we were unable to meet your expectations. I do not believe there was ever a fridge downstairs in the listing. There is a starter pack of TP and Paper towels provided for guests, and we did bring you 3 boxes of drinking glasses when you reached out to us. Our previous guests did not mention missing or broken glasses so we were not aware at the time and immediately tried to rectify it and the DISH situation after the storm! As the listing states, the river is a good drive away from the house and is not a walking path. We wish there was a pantry, however most cabin rentals were not built with these in our area until recently. We have spoken with the cleaners about your feedback and apologize for any inconveniences you experienced during your trip.

Quiet get away
This cabin was great for a quiet get away. My teenager enjoy hanging out by the river and besting me in badminton. My nine year old loved chillin at the pond fishing. The cabin was well stocked with necessities and all I had to bring was clothing and food. I would definitely rent again.

Close to town & river is awesome
Property was as described, river area is great but if you have anyone with mobility issues, you’ll definitely need an ATV to get back up the hill. Great time. Inside was clean, outside had lots if pollen & spider webs, that’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect location!
This is a beautiful property in a perfect location. Being from Florida, I was happy that this was an easy road to drive on to get to the property! Beautiful inside and out. Plenty of room in the yard for activities. Nice walk down to the pond or river. Everything you could possibly want is inside the cabin. Plenty of space. Location is fantastic, close to everything. I can't say enough. Looking forward to coming back to Blue Ridge!

Peaceful retreat
The description of the property was spot on. It’s a beautiful cabin and location . It’s close enough to town but secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the river during the day. We hope to be able to come back soon!

Spring Break
This cabin in the mountains of Georgia is exactly as described……perfect! 3 floors allowed our family with 2 teenage daughters plenty of space to spread out and relax. Fishing in the pond and hiking down to the river were activities we loved. The property is truly beautiful and the owners are very responsive. We would love to return again in the future.

Wonderful stay in Blue Ridge!
We stayed for a long weekend in Blue Ridge. The cabin is perfect for a family with kids! We enjoyed fishing on the Toccoa River. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. And it’s close to the town of Blue Ridge. Can’t wait to come back!

As good as it gets
Couldn’t ask for a better vacation spot. So close to downtown but feels so secluded too. Cabin was cozy and clean and the owners thought of every detail! The fishing was great! We would stay here again anytime!

Perfect Vacation for Us
Cabin was clean, beds were very comfortable. Lots of room for the kids to play outside. Felt secluded but neighbors were not far and town is a short drive, so very convenient and safe. I am not usually an early riser but I loved going out to the balcony to watch the colors as the sun came up! Hot tub very clean; cover was easy manage. Felt like they thought of everything. Would stay again!

Everything we anticipated!
My husband and I were looking forward to our stay for months and we were not disappointed. The house was great for our family and the property was amazing! We brought our golf cart and it was perfect for the trip down to the river. The property is centrally located to hiking, the lake and shops, but it also has so much to offer you don’t need to go anywhere else! The owners responded quickly when we contacted them. We really appreciate having such a fabulous place to stay on our family vacation.

Enjoyable February getaway with Family
Our stay at Toccoa Lodge was relaxing and very enjoyable. The cabin was warm and inviting as soon as we entered. It was also VERY clean! We were lucky to have warm weather for a February trip. The heavy rain forecasted for our stay only occurred at night and the sound on the tin roof was wonderful. There was plenty to do regardless of the weather! My adult kids, age 21 and 22, enjoyed the awesome pool table and bar area on the lower level. My teen daughter, age 14, and her friend were thrilled to have the privacy of the lower level bedroom and bathroom. All beds and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Almost too much! I wanted to sleep half the time! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Our favorite time was spent at the pond and river for fishing and kayaking. It was the first time my daughter had been in a kayak on still water (in the pond.) She loved it. My son FINALLY caught a fish, but not in the pond. He got lucky and caught a rainbow trout in the river when water levels went down after a water release from the dam. The river was beautiful the entire visit. It was great seeing it run fast and full and then seeing it at normal levels. The pond is incredibly clean due to the two springs that run through it. We drove our car down to the pond and most of the way to the river. If you do this, access is not a problem, especially if you have things to carry or a kayak to tote up and down. I'm sure an all wheel drive would have 0 issues. I only have front wheel drive and did okay considering all the rain. Avid walkers or hikers will enjoy the beautiful hike. The large private area by the river is amazing!!! I would definitely consider coming here again! Terry is an excellent host. I would choose fall or summer next time because leaves on the trees would cover and muffle the nearby highway. I expected this from the map and it wasn't too much of a problem. The younger folks couldn't have cared less because it was quieter at night and no traffic could be heard from the pond. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer place at this rate. Great location!
We absolutely loved this cabin! I loved the location 5 minutes from the city. The views were gorgeous! We loved watching the deer play in the back yard, walking down to the river and pond. We are looking forward to coming back staying here again.

Peace and Tranquility!
Great cabin, beautiful and tranquil location. We brought the food and everything we needed to prepare our meals was available. The kids enjoyed the camp fires and making smores. The kids also enjoyed waking up early to watch the deers play in the back yard. Unfortunately we forgot our fishing poles and we weren't able to enjoy fishing the beautiful river. We had a fabulous time and Terry was great host! Definitely recommend if your looking to getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Perfect Mountain Getaway
Feel like you're in the mountains but only a few minutes from the quiet little town of Blue Ridge. Excellent amenities for adults and children. You could spend your entire vacation at the cabin and have a great time!!

Perfect getaway
This cabin has everything you need! Comfy beds, kitchen utensils, towels, games etc. We stayed 5 days and only left the cabin to get groceries and explore the downtown otherwise we spent most of our time hiking down to the waterfall, river and pond which is all on the property ( no need to get in the car to explore, this property has it all). Pizza Hut delivered to us, Misty mountain hops had good burgers & carrolls bbq was good. Very convenient that we could bring our fur babies and we are so appreciative that the hosts don’t limit the size or breed. The hosts provided good communication. We will definitely be back!

Probably the best cabin I’ve stayed at. Location, views, jacuzzi, pool table, cleanliness, cooking supplies, decor, the River, fire pit, absolutely everything was great! I will def be staying there again.

Great place, great location and meets everyone's needs
Tocooa Ridge is a great place to stay that is clean and well stock with anything you may need or want. If you want to just stay in and hike around then the kitchen is so well stocked it like being at home. There is plenty to do within this three bedroom, three bath home so you can just relax and enjoy the vistas. The location is great for hiking as it has 10 acres that includes a pond and access to the Toccoa River! But it is also close enough to get to store or downtown Blue Ridge. The hardest decision you have to make is when to come because I can see that with each season, there is so much to do. It is great for your dog as its wrap around porch has a gate so they can be out with you without being tethered to a leash all the time. Generally, a 5* place.

A home away from home
The cabin was even better in person than the photos give it justice! From the second we stepped in, it was so warm and inviting. We brought our furry friend as well with the family, the main porch has a gate that you can shut to allow the dogs to stay on the porch! This was a very big bonus! The cabin is fully stocked with board games, puzzles, pool table and hot tub in addition to cleaning supplies. You are but a short walk to the beautiful river with a small campsite set up if you wish to use it. We had all kinds of age ranges with us and everyone enjoyed the cabin for different reasons. With a little bit of research, you find there is lots to do in Blue Ridge as well! We will be back!

Perfect vacation with our huskies.
The cabin is in the perfect location. They provide everything you need. The cabin is pretty as well as comfortable. Our huskies loved the walks, especially down to the river. Will stay there when we can return to Blue Ridge.

Great Weekend!
The cabin was lovely, cozy, and so very well stocked. The kitchen has everything you would need. Hot tub was on and ready to go. TV's worked easily and so may channels to choose from. Loved the enclosed wrap around porch and this was so nice to let our furry friends wander in an out. The owners were readily available and so nice!!! The only addition would maybe be a hammock, but otherwise perfect.

Privacy and quiet in the woods but close to everything
Beautiful modern cabin with every convenience, room for everyone to have their own space, fantastic covered wraparound porch and decks. We could have stayed here forever in our quiet oasis a short pretty walk to the river. Also just a very short 5-minute drive to town of Blue Ridge which has anything you need. We chose this location for being central to may tourist attractions in the area and were thrilled with our choice. Also owner was very responsive. Loved this pick for visiting the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains!

You can’t go wrong!
You can’t go wrong staying at this cabin. We stayed with our adult children and had a great time. The trail down to the river was a bit of a hike but so worth it. The kids went fishing in the river and we had a picnic by the water. Enjoyed making s’mores on the fire pit. Everything was as described or even better. Great experience, great place!

Simply The Best
Cabin is great! Nice and clean. Very close to town. It rained so we only walked to pond. Just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Would go back again for sure. Stairs are a little steep to climb. Everything is in the kitchen. You don't need anything except what you want to eat and drink. We fixed all out meals there. Fur babies enjoyed the stay also. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us even though we never knew you were down the road!
