This place is amazing!! Highly recommend. Very well appointed. It has everything you need to have a memorable vacation. From the wood burning fireplace on the large covered outdoor porch to the fun game room downstairs. All beds and furnishings were top of the line and extremely comfortable. The only downside I could see was the creek was a little difficult to get to but it definitely did not take away from our stay. I would recommend this cabin for anyone and all ages.

We loved it. It was so cozy and such a peaceful place. In fact we found ourselves eating around 4 and ready for bed around 6. We especially liked that everyone had their own space and the community areas were huge. This was the most peaceful vacay we have had in our 38 years of family vacay. Checkin was no problem, easy wifi, kitchen was over equipped. NO COMPLAINTS (except we needed more towels per persons, and the bathrooms were small) but we had a beautiful stay and can't wait to try it again soon.

NC family vacation

The house was exactly as described. This was 1 of 4 cabins our family rented in the area for 24 of us to vacation in NC & Georgia. We didn't really utilize all the amenities because we had activities planned virtually every day. The large house had enough space to spread out and the hot tub was a great asset after a busy day of outdoor activities. Host was attentive.

Hemlock Hideout is truely a hidden treasure. The cabin felt secluded despite having other properties near by. It had everything needed for cooking. The climb down to the creek wasn't to difficult. The boys were hoping to do some trout fishing there but no fish were seen in the clear waters. The owner was very thoughtful. We found a graduation card for him w a chocolate bar! I rate this property a 10/10!

Nice, clean, well-stocked

House and area were beautiful, it was well-stocked except for lacking a can opener. And lightning struck nearby so it was lucky that they'd left the closet open with the breaker box. I don't know if this was intentional. Only other complaint was that the upstairs shower had some mold. The creek is down a steep hill, but it's a nice walk. Water was too high and fast to get in when we were there due to recent rain. Overall, very nice.

Mountain getaway

The cabin was beautiful and very spacious. We enjoyed the evenings sitting outside by the fireplace. Everything was as advertised. We highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Spring Break Getaway

The location was perfect, the house and porches were amazing and just as described! It was a great “hideaway” from our busy lives for a few days! Eventho it rained and was cool, we really enjoyed watching movies and playing games. The host was very accommodating and accessible, I would highly recommend staying at Hemlock Hideaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains!!

Our stay was great. The creek is behind the house but there are other properties between the house and creek. The tv wasn’t on the porch which was kind of a bummer, considering that was one of my husband’s highlights but over all the house was beautiful

Just what we wanted

Cabin was exceptionally clean. Communication with the host was excellent and proactive so no last minute surprises. They had some very handy guides on the area that gave us so ideas of where to go and explore. Kitchen and gas grill were well stocked with the basics we needed. Just a wonderful place. It wasn’t important to us, but there were no TVs outside above the fireplace or by the hot tub as indicated in the pictures, so I’d verify with the owner if those have been put back if you’re plan is to sit outside and watch them.

Mountain getaway

The cabin was really nice and clean. Kitchen was nicely stocked with all needed appliances. Really nice outdoor areas. Fireplace on the porch was pictured with a tv over it. The tv was not there. I’d also suggest that the bathroom mats in basement bathroom be replaced. It’s a great cabin .. especially for a big group!

Wonderful weekend in Blue Ridge!

We especially enjoyed this home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. We had great weather so we loved sitting by the fire in the evening. Blue Ridge was a beautiful spot with good restaurants. We would have liked to have had instructions for tv and upstairs bedroom had no remote.

Birthday trip

Excellent property kitchen is VERY well supplied with equipment and porch is an amazing place to spend family time.property is NOT directly on the creek- walking down a very rudimentary path to the gravel road which takes you to the creek, so no real easy access for fishing which was a little disappointing. It is better to walk out front of home and go right on the gravel road to access creek view- somewhat strenuous but short walk. Property management is excellent.
