Cozy with amazing view

The cabin was amazing and exactly as described. Fair warning, take a car with good wheels and 4WD would be best. We stocked up and settled in and had an excellent weekend together.

Mountain get-a-way

Nice remote cabin that was mostly fully equipped. Glad I have an AWD vehicle to access. Electric Fireplace is fake and noisy. No firepit or outdoor BBQ that I could use. Otherwise, it was a good deal!

Anniversary getaway

The cabin itself was so cute and peaceful.. perfect for a couples getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed the board games in the living room. It was overall clean except for a wad of black hair on the shower liner. A loose nail was sticking up on the threshold of the bedroom balcony. We tried to bend it downward to avoid injury. However, our biggest complaint is leaving the cabin. It is rough terrain and we really feel this should be better disclosed in the listing!! Each time we left the cabin, it was a source of anxiety. I drive a front-wheel drive SUV and let me say.. IT STRUGGLED!! The ground is uneven with loose gravel on a hill at the driveway. I feel like my review is full of complaints and that is really not the case. We enjoyed our time away but be aware of the trek to get to this cabin. We would have been better suited to have driven my husband’s FWD truck

Not for Motorcycles!!

Would have been a 5 star rating, if motorcycle accessable. The cabin itself was a 5, however the road up to the cabin was gravel and steep. We trailered our bike up. It was very difficult maneuvering our trailer to and from the cabin. I didn't not see in the advertisement about the gravel roads.

The location was close to all we wanted to do locally.

I had pretty much everything we needed. Just a little more dishwasher detergent would have been easier since we cooked a lot. The small garbage bin was small & 1/2 filled when we arrived, no place for our 2nd bag of trash..

Pre-Christmas getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing week at and around the cabin watching deer, squirrels, and birds. The location was perfect but as others have said, you really need a 4x4 or all wheel drive to get there. I was looking forward to using the indoor fireplace, especially since there's no fire pit, but it throws very little heat and is more for ambiance. We had to pull a portable heater out of the closet for the living room but it all worked out. The TV in the bedroom wasn't working but the office was very quick to respond and got us a new TV the same day. Unfortunately the man that came to hook it up didn't hook it up to the Dish network so we couldn't watch what we wanted in the bedroom but that was our final day there.

Awesome Getaway!

Very remote and super nice/clean cabin. It was perfect for our trip out of town to getaway and enjoy the mountains for this time of the year. Highly recommend it to everybody!

Great location! *Vehicle Info* Make sure you have 4x4 if wet or icy!

Very clean and cozy. Perfect distance between Elijah and Blue Ridge. Only note, you will need a 4x4 if it is wet or icy. We took our f150 which 2 wheel drive and got stuck. Had a neighbor tow us out. He said it happens all the time.
