We have stayed at Canopy Blue several times and are never disappointed! The view is amazing, the hot tub and outdoor seating area is perfect after a long day of hiking. A true get away and yet only a few miles from all the outdoor activities and the quaint downtown. The owners are easy to reach - access is simple and convenient.

My wife and I stayed 3 days mid-week at Canopy Blue Treehouse and enjoyed the quiet nature all around us, right down to the barred owl out back in the evening. There was occasional vehicle noise coming up the gravel road, but it wasn't frequent. We loved the beauty of the cabin and the awesome, long-range view from the decks and windows. The clean, cabin has many rustic details and decorations inside and out that are really noteworthy, even down to the unique silverware! With just the 2 of us it was a perfect size, but the pictures accurately show that space might be cozy for some if you have 6 people staying. We'd consider it a 'large, tiny-house' and enjoyed it. Communication was very good with the host and housekeeping. We're thankful for the host's notes about driving directions to the cabin - our GPS found the cabin easily but wanted to route us a different way that is likely a much longer way heading from the other end of the gravel road? Taking the directed way, we only met one vehicle on the last stretch of road to the cabin, but it is gravel, uphill, and closer to one-vehicle wide (with pull-offs if oncome traffic arrives). For those that need to know there were both traditional drip and keurig-type coffee makers. We had a very enjoyable stay celebrating our anniversary.

The perfect getaway

We have stayed in a lot of beautiful locations over the years, and this is one of our favorites. Gorgeous property, inside and out with stunning spacious outdoor decks. I loved all the details to the property with outdoor lighting and firepit in the back. Waking up to gorgeous views was much loved. Plenty of hiking trails nearby. Truly the perfect spot to recharge.

Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and truly magical. You really are in the treetops and the view is beautiful. Emails were very helpful with all instructions provided and included a book inside for anything info about things in the house we needed. Location was just 15 minutes from town and grocery stores. We had sunny and rainy days and all of it was great! Loved it!

Weekend getaway

It is in a great location close to all local attractions, it was exactly what we were looking for! We did identified an issue with water pressure in the shower (it is dismal at best), and we found the only way control the hot water in the shower is to leave the BR vanity sink hot water running while you shower. I would consider this a risk point if renting to a family with young children.

Very nice property, but the shower pressure is really low, barely comes out and there was trash left under the sink that stank. Other than that, it was a great stay. Really enjoyed being in the treehouse. It's beautiful and unique. Nice and quiet on the mountains and even seen deer on our last day.

Sunset Delight

The Canopy Blue treehouse is everything as advertised. The house is first class both inside and out, the view of the misty mountains in the morning and the sunset in the evening are amazing. The owners are easily accessible and are great at assisting their guests. The only concern is the dirt road to the cabin is very rutted, but you do not need a four wheel drive, I would suggest a vehicle that has a high clearance.

Quiet in the trees with unbelievable view.

Beautifully done small house in the trees. Nicely presented from the lit walkway to the outstanding fire pit at the base of the property. The main back deck has a spectacular view, and when coupled with a clear evening, truly memorable sunsets. The web pics give a very accurate representation of what you're getting. The hosts were very helpful and answered all our questions quickly and completely. We had a delightful stay.
