Excellent cabin, beautiful views and lots of space and amenities. It being dog friendly made it a huge win for us, particularly with care being taken to put a gate on the porch. Kids are already asking about when we can come back!Blue Ridge had changed so much in 20 years. We explored downtown, ate at Bobs and The Rumcake Lady and wanted to go back to both. We kayaked Lake Blue Ridge and the whole family really enjoyed it. Lots of hiking in the area to enjoy as well.Things book out in the summer, even towards the end, so if you want to enjoy the rail bikes or railroad ride, make sure you check dates. There are days they don’t run.Escape to Blue Ridge made renting the place super easy and we felt cared for with simple check-ins and offers to help during our stay. Will definitely use them again!

My overall experience was awesome! If you can wow my husband that really means something! He couldn’t stop talking about how much he really loved the house and the location. This was our first time visiting Blue Ridge Mountains and we can’t wait to bring the kids and extended family members.

Beautiful cabin with amazing views!!

We loved our stay at the Blackberry Lodge. The views are incredible. We went in the fall and the weather was nice and cool, we even got to use the fire place! We enjoyed hanging out in the game room playing pool. It is just the right distance away from town so you are close enough to amenities, but still feel secluded in nature. We would definitely stay there again!!

Excellent cabin!

The cabin was in great condition and outfitted, inside and out. Fabulous location with incredible views! Close to downtown, Mercier’s, and all the woodsy trails and nature you can possibly imagine. Cabin felt secluded, with end of the road location that made it exceptionally quiet and peaceful. But still easy to find and close to anything you’d need, we even had an instacart drop off within an hour of our arrival :) Everything in working condition and well cared for from towels & toiletries to hot tub and furniture. Games, ping pong, and video game table kept the kids playing for hours. Upstairs back patio was the best spot for morning coffee and evening wine we’ve had in our adventures to the North Georgia mountains. We’ll be back BlackBerry Lodge! Highly recommend!

Second time staying here.

Absolutely love this property and this was our second time staying. This time with our two crazy Blue Healers who were unusually calm the entire trip. Gorgeous view, Plenty of room for multiple people/dogs, close to town, and right down the street from a part of the Benton MacKay trail. The only downside this time was the well pump went out on Easter weekend so we had no water for 24hrs. Thankfully it was fixed as soon as the office got word. We will definitely stay here again.

If you want glorious views for your morning coffee or evening cocktails then this is the house for you. The house is always perfectly maintained, hot tub is ready and you all you need to ‘escape to blue ridge’. Its location is perfect 5 mons from the grocery story and 11 mins from down town blue ridge. PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT

Amazing Getaway!

This cabin was just as pictured! The kitchen amenities were great, the hot tub, pool table were fantastic. The fire pit was amazing-there is even a grate to cook over the open flame! We were a family of 4 and had plenty of room. Easily could sleep 6-8. This was one of our top trips and we will keep this cabin on our list of places to come back to.

Perfect Place for Any Type of Getaway

A friend and I stayed at Blackberry Lodge for a girls’ trip, and we had a blast! The cabin is exactly as pictured on VRBO. It is at the end of a road on top of a hill, so it has the feeling of seclusion while actually still being very close to town. We thought the dishwasher was broken, so I called management to report it; the woman was friendly and assured me she’d get someone out to look at it. We kept working on it and finally figured out that it wasn’t broken, just different from any we’d ever used. I called to tell them it wasn’t broken, but within an hour another friendly person was at the door to check it out and make sure it was okay. I really appreciated their response. I would definitely book this cabin again whether for a girls’ trip or a getaway with my husband.

We had an amazing time at this cabin! So cozy and very quiet. Had read the reviews that the management isn’t great with communication, and definitely experienced that. Emailed the first day we were there to ask about firewood and let them know that we replaced the coffee maker, because there was no pot in it when we got there. No response. But they sure did make sure to email me promptly about the checkout time and procedures. Would rent this cabin again, but make sure you have zero questions or confusion when you get there.

Gorgeous

We love traveling from South Florida to the Blue Ridge area a few times a years. This cabin was at the end of a steep paved beautiful tree covered road. For how quiet the neighborhood and area was you would have no idea it was only a couple of miles from the downtown area. Perfect location, excellent views from the porch, and all around great cabin with plenty of amenities. We will for sure rent again with more family.

Poor communication

Although the property had a great location, and was exactly what was pictures, the lack of communication left an overall bad experience. I didn’t receive access information to the faculty until after checkin. I contact the company back in September and again, didn’t receive a response until after checkin in. I had concerns about securing the hot tub as my young children were staying there because the latches were broken, never received a response. They were happy to charge my credit card even though they didn’t apparently have all the information to complete the process, although never asked. When asked why I didn’t received a response, the only answer I received was “ I don’t know.”

Loved the cabin, awesome views, plenty of comfy furniture for 4 adults. Nice that almost all the drive up to the cabin was paved. Close enough to town to get supplies quickly. Want to go back!

Perfect Getaway

Spectacular stay once again. The privacy, the house, amenities and views this house provides is 5*. Perfect location, close enough to all that you need but far enough away to enjoy the views and seclusion. Enough space for just us and our little pup or for a whole group. I used the hot this time and it was GLORIOUS ! I highly recommend this house and the property managers. We’ll be back again.
