We stayed at this cabin for 2 nights. Unfortunately, the house was infested with thousands of lady bugs, many of them dead, when we arrived. The hot tub was also cold, half empty and unusable the first night. I am certainly okay with a bug or two in a cabin, but we woke up a few times the first night due to bugs physically walking around on us. The staff had NOT checked this cabin before we arrived. I am really hoping we don't bring the lady bugs back home with us. The view is nice, the kitchen is well stocked, and they did send a cleaner who was great the next morning, but they should have cleaned the cabin before we arrived. Unacceptable.

The property itself is really nice! Great location, charming, roomy and comfortable. However, we were not overly impressed at how it was maintained and managed. When we arrived, the 3rd bedroom which we paid for, was locked. The issue was resolved with a couple of phone calls, however, because it was not assigned correctly there were no towels provided for that room. And that leads to our overall issue of maintenance and facilities. The outside decks, especially the lower one with the hot tub, was extremely dirty and had not been cleaned in a long time. There were huge cobwebs everywhere, furniture was dirty and there was a wasp nest. Indeed our son got bit badly. We know its the mountains and there may be the odd cobweb, but this was excessive and clearly not cleaned in a long time. Another huge annoyance was the lack of paper products and basic homely items. We had to waste hours and spend over 200 on startup basics like dish soap, dish scrub, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, washing liquid, actual towels ( as noted before not enough provided), and more. Just because it is noted by the Managing Agency that minimal paper products are provided, does not make it excusable. We paid a lot of money for the cabin. A reasonable amount of paper products, trash bags, towels, etc should be provided for the length of the stay. A hotel provides it!Because of all this we do not categorize the cabin as true VRBO, home from home rental.

Views were amazing! Location convenient to everything. Love the fenced yard for the dogs. I’d suggest taking some extra towels if you plan to use the hot tub. Extremely clean house and no funny pet smells!

Great stay!

Perfect house for a family of 4 with teenagers and dogs. The fenced yard was a game changer! Home was very clean and well maintained. Views were fabulous!

Beautiful views excellent location

This cabin was clean comfortable with wonderful views and only 10 minutes from downtown Blue ridge. The fenced yard was a great addition if you have a dog or kids. Views from the front of the house are fabulous and there are tons of places to sit outside. Everything was conducive to a nice long weekend. Highly recommend it!

Quaint, tidy, cute, CLEAN

LOVED this cabin. GREAT layout if you have kids too. You can basically lock them in the lower level with a game room, TV area and separate bedroom and bath. Everything was very clean in this cabin. It is pet friendly but you could not detect any previous pet issues/ occupancy. I really appreciate this as I have allergies. The balconies are amazing with their views. This was a spouse weekend get away and it was perfect. Hot tub was also fresh and clean and I felt totally comfortable using it. Even the master bed mattress seemed quite nice and comfortable.
