The Good: Cabin was in a great location. A little drive from Branson but close enough to all the activities we enjoyed. Very private with a hot tub that was warm and relaxing. Plenty of room for us to chill between visits to local attractions.The Not So Good: Woke up to a spider crawling on my arm. I get it - cabin sets in the woods, but still? Killed several more critters during our stay. Frig smelled like fish when we arrived - good thing there is a Dollar General close, boxes of baking soda to the rescue! Used tissue stuffed in the side of a chair cushion - Yuch! Cabin is dated and needs some TLC, painting, some refinishing of doors and trim, and new floor coverings would be nice. Upon notifying the management company of the few issues, they did offer to send someone out. Nice, but a little late.Strange thing is, they requested a 5-star review upon us checking out. They kind of held over our heads a reciprocal "5-star review" for us as guests if we left the same for them. Come on man! You know we had issues with our stay, minor maybe, but still issues. I make it a point to photograph everyplace we stay (we do a large amount of travelling) when we arrive and when we leave. We always leave the location, following the rules and regulations and better than when we arrived, so I know a 5-star review about us is the only option, so leave one about us or don't.This all said, not overly bad. I've stayed in worse, Oh... those college days in the 80's! :)

Beautiful cottage, very clean. Will totally stay here again. We very much enjoyed our time here. My only (small) complaint is that the hottub was not useable. The chemicals were so overpowering that we just couldn't stand it. It was like taking a chlorine bath. I know that many places are now switching over to a saltwater brine type solution that is less offending for pools and hottubs. But other than that, it was a great outing and we would totally stay here again and recommend to others when we come back to Branson.

Great communication before booking answering questions right away. Cabin was clean and private with dense woods behind. We visited the local coffee shop also operated by the host. Amazing hand crafted coffee! A must visit.

Very nice, cozy, clean cottage. Only issue we had was the Keurig coffee pot didn’t work but luckily there was another regular coffee maker and enough coffee in the cabinet to get us through the first morning! We would stay again!

Awesome getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was perfect!! Enjoyed seeing wildlife in the mornings and evening. Beautiful scenery all around. Close to major attractions but not to close. Was quiet in the evenings which was great!!

Spring Break Getaway

Nice cottage with nestled in quiet woods. You can hear the birds chirping and enjoy the privacy of the woods while relaxing in the hot tub. Less than 10 minute drive to Big Cedar Lodge for family activities.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Woodsong! The cottage is perfectly located to allow for privacy, but is only 30 minutes from Branson. The beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was fantastic! The listing says pool table, but that isn’t correct, there is a foosball table. We would certainly recommend this cabin and would rent it again.

Off the beaten path

We normally stay in Branson when we visit. We chose to stay further out. The cottage is approximately 20 minutes south of Branson. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. The cottage was very clean and it was equipped with everything we needed. There were several trails on the property to explore. It is situated on the north side of the 40 acres so there are no other houses near. If you're looking for something quiet with easy access to Branson I would highly recommend.

Peaceful and quiet

The property itself was very quiet and relaxing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The property description needs to be updated as it says there is a pool table but there is not. The unit has a foosball table. Also the coffee pot needs to be replaced. It is old and missing the spring that fits on the filter. The main floor shower needs new fixtures and shower head and there needs to be clear tv instructions and channel guide.

Great stay!

Beautiful views and great outdoor spaces. Came into town for a wedding at Glasshaus and this was an ideal location just a half mile down the road. House was very clean and had everything you need. One thing I would suggest is to bring extra pillow cases because there are only 2 pillows on beds with iron headboards. They had pillows in closets but no pillow cases.

Great place!

This was an amazing place to stay near Branson! Everything was clean and neat. Our 3 children (13,9,7) loved the place as well. Large property on a very quiet street made for peaceful evenings after a busy day around town, especially soaking in the hot tub. Plenty of room indoors so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Overall a great place would definitely bring the family here again.

Wonderful Serene Cottage

Woodsong Cottage is beautiful, Quiet and has everything you will need during your stay. The property’s management stayed in contact the whole stay. Making sure we had what we needed and if it was anything they could assist with. Beds were comfy. The house was nice and cool and bug free. We enjoyed just sitting outdoors with wine after the hustle and bustle of Branson’s main strip I would highly recommend staying here during your visit. We are already planning to return to this cottage in a couple months.
