"Check in was a little rough because there is no front desk and I had to call to get access to my room when I arrived. The hotel is over a bar "The Asylum" so it gets a little loud at the entrance at night. Bed mattress was a little worn out where people sit at the side of the bed before going to sleep. Shower was great! All in all not too bad though."

"The perfect place for two people looking for a peaceful getaway. Right on the Jackson River Scenic Trail for biking. Top Jackson River fishing and kayaking spots all within close proximity. The apartment feels large with lots of storage, full kitchen, roomy bathroom and multiple windows for fresh air. The bed and loveseat were comfy. Keep the windows open at night and drift off to sleep with the sounds of the river then wake up to the lovely songs of the birds!"

"The Mountain Hideaway was the best part of our vacation. The home is clean and beautiful. Very quiet country area with lots of room. The address was confusing our gps. We found our host by accident and he assisted us to find the property. "We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
