This place is perfect for a family gathering, there is lots of water toys from the trapoline in the lake to the various paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boat and tons of life jackets and folding chairs to use on the beach and the dock. The kitchen is well sticked for cooking big family meals. There are two barbecues and 1.5 outdoor fridges. It was a perfect stay for our family. The views ofnthe lake were amazing especially from the hot tub when the sun was setting. The hosts were helpful and made themselves avaible if needed. They were very knowledgeable about the area and events taking place in the area. I would highly recommend this property, especially for families.

Great spot for a multi generational family vacation

Jodie and Steve could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Their home is pristine clean and extremely well equipped: we had everything we could want for wonderful family vacation. There are enough spots to have some separate time if needed and the water trampoline was a massive hit with all the children.Worth noting that the road between the house and the beach is busier than we had envisaged, with many cars not obeying the speed limit.

We had a group of 14. Lots of room for everyone. Back yard area is perfect for hanging out and playing games. The hot tub was an amazing touch! Water trampoline was a huge hit with the kids. Paddle boards and peddle boat was pretty great. Jody and Steve were great to deal with. Super responsive. Would definitely stay again.

They were very helpful even during and after a Wind storm and loss of electric. Outlets were a little hard to find and it was warm at certain times of day. There is a local highway between house and lake which can be loud at times. We enjoyed our stay and none of these things hindered our time at the house. We would stay again if our journeys lead us there.

Our family had a wonderful time at this excellent vacation house. The house was well equipped and served our large family well. The back patio was large and had tables for everyone. Owner response to our questions and requests was very timely, and they showed care for our stay. We enjoyed the pedal boat to get out to the trampoline and back. Definitely would come here again.

Lots of space and great location for a family

Our family loved staying at this location and look forward to rebooking it for next summer. The public boat launch and grocery were just minutes away.There was tons of seating for the outdoors and lots of water toys and activities to be had here.Thanks for the stay!

Great place with great hosts

Overall everything was great, wonderful house with large outside areas for entertaining a large group, really loved the double doors that opened to the upper deck, made the people cooking feel like they were part of the party outside. One small recommendation would be to provide soap in the bathrooms, we had none in the showers . I would highly recommend this place to friends and family .

Blind Bay Visit

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Beautiful views, good location and a nice spot on the beach to enjoy some toys and sun. Close to the golf courses but private enough to not be bothered as we enjoyed eachothers company. Hosts were very friendly and helpful to accommodate our stay. Would definitely come back!

Extended family getaway

Our group of 17, ages 7-66, really enjoyed the property. Highlights were: 1- the water trampoline, water toys, and easy access to the lake2- the plentiful indoor and outdoor seating options so we could have space together and apart3- a big kitchen and 3 fridges around the house We’d definitely consider going back again.

Wonderful stay in Blind Bay

Our nursing friend group had an absolutely amazing time at Jody and Stephen’s place. The place was beautifully layed out with enough room to relax, sit around the table and sleep comfortably. The place was extremely clean with well through out details and views were stunning with gorgeous sunsets. We loved the very clean hot tub that was very relaxing and clean The kitchen was well stocked with lots of prep room and the beds were very comfortable Jody and Stephen gave us a detailed and supportive tour on arrival and were very approachable and responsive We enjoyed a lovely afternoon out kayaking and didn’t have much trouble making our way to the water We would definitely stay at this property again and would highly recommend Thanks Jody and Stephen

Blind Bay Retreat

This house was so roomy and well designed for a large group, everyone could fit at the table, cooking facilities and kitchen top notch. Lovely swimming in the lake and clean, large hot tub to lounge around in. Everything was neat and tidy and super clean, with so much space available to gather together, both inside and out. Retreat

Pros: The Woodward house is nice and clean and steps away from the lake. The setup was great, outdoor patio was nice and cozy. Bonus points for all the water toys they supplied for their guests which made the lake much more enjoyable. Stephen and Jody was very accommodating when we had extra people in the group. Cons: - That said, we felt that our privacy was not respected. The owners dropped by almost every day and told us that all the neighbours and local businesses keep an eye out. So for those thinking about booking here - expect to be monitored. - In addition to a cleaning fee, they expect guests to clean and dry the towels, vacuum, wash and put away all dishes and more. This felt quite excessive - it should have been cleared mentioned in the listing description that they use an at home septic system. Due to the size of our group (18) they asked the men to pee outside. - Smaller issue but good to know that they don’t provide shampoo, conditioner or body wash.

Sweet Summer Escape

We rented this home for 5 days in August for a family vacation. There was 12 of us in total, ranging from age 10 to 65. The home was spacious and clean, meeting all of our expectations. Often we rent homes that are missing items like extra coffee mugs, pans, etc. This home was not missing anything. In fact, it had every item we needed and more. The home owners went above and beyond. Communication was incredible. They treated us like family and we are extremely grateful for their hospitality. We will be back next year!

Lots of room for large Family/group!

Beautiful accommodations and great for a large group. Beach access was challenging for us due to young children and a legally blind adult as the steep, rocky path was slippery and challenging just walking let alone carrying any water toys across the road and back up after stay.

What an amazing vacation property

The house is set up perfectly for large groups. Everything you need or think you need is included with your rental. We could not have been happier with our time. Steve and Jody have thought of everything, from the littlest thing in the kitchen to giving you water toys to enjoy the lake. The hot tub was a huge hit after an evening on the water. All of the rooms a spacious and comfortable with great beading and pillows. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone that is looking for some great family fun and memories.

Great week!

Loved our stay! Jody and Stephen are great hosts - truly only a text away for questions or issues. The outdoor space and location are the stars of the home! We spent most of our time outside, on the dock and on the lake - no shortage of options for enjoying the outdoors! Grandkids especially enjoyed the paddle boards, water trampoline and hot tub! Felt safe and secure with our boat on the provided buoy and loved the dock for ease of loading and unloading people on the boat. We chose this home for the lakefront and outdoor space and were very pleased with our choice! Great place to spend a week with loved ones!

Wonderful Stay

Jody and Stephen's property was fantastic for my group. There is ample space in the home with multiple bedrooms accommodating a large group of guests. The space itself is gorgeous, with close access to the lake, and lots of outdoor seating. Can't say enough positive things about my experience here. Jody and Stephen were very responsive whenever I had any questions, and had very clear check-in and check-out instructions. I would strongly recommend their property.

An awesome time was had by all

This was the perfect spot for our 3 families to enjoy. Location and accommodations were terrific. There were plenty of rooms for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, plenty of gear to enjoy the water and amazing decks to enjoy meals and some relaxation time. We can’t wait to go back.
