Great property and experience

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sardagna. The host was very helpful and responsive leading up to our stay and throughout, and the property was very well kept and clean. I definitely would recommend staying here if you are visiting Lake Como.

Beautiful!

Villa Sardagna was absolutely beautiful! You will not be disappointed by the villa, the grounds or the stunning lake setting. Michele and the staff took excellent care of us and we were spoiled from start to finish. I was a little concerned after reading one of the reviews shortly before we arrived that mentioned we would be sharing the house with the owners. It is true that the house is divided, but it was not an issue. We never knew they were there unless we needed something. Villa Sardagna is truly magical! You will love it!

beautiful house

A lovely house right on the shore of Lake Como, we stayed for 3 nights. You rent half of the house and the owners stay in the other half, so it's a bit like a large gite. This is fine though as sometimes you need some help with the local amenities, but it's just not made clear in the listing. There's boat hire and a restaurant next door, and a delicatessen in the town at the top which is great. Pros: lovely house, gardens and pool Owners are very nice and helpful, Sergio is rightly proud of his restoration of the house. Aircon in the bedrooms is really good Beautiful view of the lake Cons: The housekeeper was quite bullish and walked in on my wife when she was in the shower even though we told her to leave that room alone (in Italian) beforehand. So that was a bit weird. Daily housekeeping just isn't necessary and is usually left until after you've checked out to ensure privacy. Overall though I would definitely recommend this property as it really is a beautiful house in a great location, and the host and his son were really nice and helpful.

Lovely stay with views of Lake Como

Gorgeous villa on the shores of Lake Como. As a nice bonus when traveling with family, the villa stay included daily maid service. Roads in the area are a title treacherous but overall worth it. Close to boat rental.

Magical stay in Como

Secluded villa with lovely views. Feels like going back in time. We rented the Darsena as well to give us more room which we needed as a family of seven. Beautifully restored and decorated villa, great restaurant Momi right next door, lake front. Lovely stay

Incredible property, location, and host!

This villa is absolutely stunning. The meticulous attention to detail can be seen in every aspect of the property, including its landscaping, assiduous attention to historical authenticity, and cleanliness. Lake Como speaks for itself as a destination but the specific village where this villa is located is incredibly charming, not overly touristy, and full of great food options. The villa has an incredible view of the sunset over the lake and relaxing with a glass of wine while watching the sunset together as a family was one of our favorite activities. Most importantly, the host is absolutely fantastic and makes every part of your trip easier. Sergio went out of his way to help us with everything, ranging from making sure there was milk in the house for our toddler when we got there to coordinating a driver to take us to a nearby sporting event. We loved our experience and can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Villa on Lake Como

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sardagna in Blevio on Lake Como! Sergio was such a great host, from our welcome tour of the villa, the explanation of the villa history and renovation, and his recommendations for places to visit, eat, and how to get around. And thank you to Adrian, who was also so helpful during our stay! Highly recommend this beautiful villa in a great location.

La Dolce Vita

Beautiful property with attention to guest comfort makes it easy to enjoy life Italian style. This unique villa has been masterfully restored with an eye for details. Stunning views of Lake Como, wonderful restaurant next door (Momi- make reservations early if high season), a fabulous specialty grocer nearby, and of course a fabulous host that is responsive to all questions and requests. Beautiful house on Lake Como !

A fabulous house located in Blevio on Lake Como, beautifully furnished and filled with antique furniture and fittings. We were very warmly welcomed by Sergio our host and owner of Villa Sardagna and looked after so very well by Adrian during our stay. It was a real honour and treat to be able to stay in such a house and we had a lovely week here. It is ideally suited as a base for exploring the lake and region of Como as there is a ferry boat stop at Blevio, less than 100 metres from the house as well as a regular bus service. A good deli/grocer is also located in Blevio and they will deliver if needed. A very pretty swimming pool and terrace come with the house and make for a very high end experience and relaxation. Beautiful !!!

Amazing stay all around

We had the best experience possible in this villa. The owner of the villa made sure everything was arranged before our arrival. We requested a crib and a few other minor things and he arranged it all. As we arrived, the manager and cleaning professional were waiting for us with a huge smile. We arrived at the villa to find everything in perfect condition and a few amazing treats for us. They made sure we new all the details about the house and gave us tips of what to do and where to go in Lake Como. The villa was super clean and brand new (the owner passionately renovated the villa and everything in it is in perfect condition). The outdoor space is amazing for adults and kids and the location of the villa is also amazing. We were able to get on a ferry within a 5 min walk from the villa. On our last day, the owner came and explained the history of the place. What an incredible stay. Would definitely go back!!
