"We felt right at home here in between logging high mileage hiking days on the Appalachian Trail nearby. We were able to cook and do laundry, and rest well. Laura was a kind and responsive host. The house has plenty of room for a group to spread out. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the cows and birds! The sun porch was perfect in the afternoons after hiking."

"Super clean, quite place. 2 minute ride to town and buffalo creek trails restaurant is basically right across the road. 5 minute sxs ride to Pocahontas trail system. Host was fast with responding to questions and super nice. There is enough room for 2 trucks with trailers to park in the gravel out front. (Pretty big lot and long driveway so I’m sure with permission you could park more in the grass) would definitely stay here again!"
