My family spent a lovely few days at the house, we had an incredible time! The house was thoughtfully decorated and everything we needed was available. The kids adored the game room!Stellar communication and clean and cozy space made our family new years a hit! We had a ski day at Blue Mountain, and it was about 35 minutes away, very simple drive. Unique home with extremely comfortable bed! Game room was awesome. We’d love to go back when the weather is warm to be able to enjoy the lake beach. Host was very welcoming.

I have vacationed in this area 4 times already because it is my secret spot. This house is the best cabin thus far!
The ducks come like clockwork. Around 7 pm. We watched them each time.
The lake/pond can't tell which but it's the most beautiful thing I've seen so far.
I made this picture and it will be my picture frame.
My puppy was the happiest that I ever seen her. I don't have to take her walking like usual because it's a pretty big property to explore.

We had a excellent weekend stay. The owners checked in on us, shortly after we arrived to see if we needed anything. The cozy kitchen and family room made for some great family time. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, great for taking family walks with our dog. Our daughter enjoyed paddle boarding on the placid waters of the lake. The owner was super great on getting her paddle board registered a few days before we got there. Our dog especially enjoyed the clean and clear waters of the lake. It was hard getting her out. The owners recommended the Boulder View Tavern restaurant. We took our dog with us there twice and the staff and food were amazing. During our short stay we spent all of our time by the lake and walking around the neighborhood and eating at the referred restaurants. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to enjoy the fully equipped game room. I wish we had more time.

So many amenities! Wonderful house & host!

Three is us stayed with pups on a holiday weekend. The fenced-in area of the yard is great to let dogs run around. The house is very cute & as long as people don’t mind open rooms, it really can sleep many people. The playroom upstairs is huge & has a foldout futon that serves as a 3rd bedroom perfectly; right outside that is the enormous bed in the lofted area up the stairs. So you almost get two bedrooms upstairs with one in the open. There are so many games & a pool table, etc. We used the boats & the bikes, and the area roads are basically empty even on a holiday weekend. It was quiet and there is a little area on the lake to sit & relax in Adirondack chairs just over the wooden foot bridge (looks like a dock from the house). We grilled on the porch and deer came through the yard as we cooked dinner - serene & lovely. Nearby there are farmers markets and lots of areas to hike (waterfalls everywhere). It was such a perfect long-weekend getaway! Janina was so considerate & sent a message just to make sure we got in & settled okay. She answered questions right away (even when the answers were already right in front of us!). One thing to note in case you’re a bigger group: there is 1 shower. There is also a huge deck upstairs with wonderful lounge chairs/beds. Cannot say enough good things about the house & host! You will be very happy when you arrive to see the house is even nicer than the pictures!

Amazing Host

Janina made everything easy, she is the personification of an easy button- you ask and she provides clear answers. The game room was so much fun. The weather was not very cooperative so some of our adventure plans were modified. We did get to do some hiking and fishing, but it’s still early in the season. Her home is a perfect launch pad to adventure and has ample activities for the whole family! Thank you so much, Janina for the amazing get away!

Lovely and cozy!

We rented the lake house for our ski trip! ( Two adults , two kids and doggy) Very beautiful house on the lake. Very clean and nice design with furniture and modern utilities. The communication with Janina was easy and quick. We had a great time! We’ll come back summer time! Highly recommend for quiet retreat ! Thank you Janina!

Holiday getaway

Our family was looking for a place to be together for the holidays that allowed us to unplug and share our time together. We got exactly that! The snow and chilly temperatures only made the home more cozy and feeling like “Christmas” with decorations to boot. Our host Janina, thought of every thing we could have needed and even left us a welcoming gift. The home had every appliance and kitchen gadget needed to cook our meals and the game room was a fun added benefit! We will definitely be back again to enjoy the Lakeview and cozy setting.

Perfect location for you in the Pocono Mountains

You will love the stay at this wonderful house in the Poconos. It was a perfect location for us so that we could get to where we wanted to go both south to Jim Thorpe, PA, and up north to railriding in Hawley, PA. The area is wonderful for hiking for dogs, and for people, too! The grounds of the house are PERFECT for your four footed friends. Very large yard with direct access to the lake as well as a fenced in yard. Our dogs enjoyed it very, very much and we would definitely stay here again if we visit the Pocono Mountains again. Enjoy your stay in this great place. The house itself is nice as well. All you need for a very comfortable stay.

Tranquility at its finest

Can’t say enough great things about the location of this property! Amazing views from the decks and lots of activities to take advantage of. We love the rec area, dog friendly fenced in yard and the top deck with great views of the lake. Janina thought of everything in the kitchen and we didn’t want for anything while we were there…a great home away from home. Would definitely book this location again, check in and check out are simple and straightforward.

We Loved This House !

My family had such a Wonderful time staying at this house! Everything was as described by the friendly owner, Janina. There are fans and air conditioning throughout this home which made our stay very pleasant. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. Janina was quick to respond back to us with any questions we had. The spacious grounds this cozy home is on are absolutely beautiful! We loved sitting on the two decks while overlooking an entry to the lake surrounded by trees and flowers. The separate fenced in yard was perfect for our two corgis. The best part was watching the deer, a fox and chipmunk from the deck! My daughter was able to work on her computer at the two desks upstairs. The beach on the lake is just perfect! We felt very secure staying in The Briarwood Community. Many thanks to Janina! We look forward to staying here again!
