Everything was perfect, as described, and as nice in person as it looks in the pictures! It would have been nice if we were provided more than a single roll of paper towels, but since that's my only complaint then I can't be upset. Highly recommended.

The home was beautiful and equipped with everything possible to enjoy our stay! Wonderful kitchen! We found the house exactly as described. We were so grateful for the use of bikes/ game room/ fire pit!There were only a few issues with communication- the cleaners were there at check in, which caused some confusion. There was only one Kayak for use instead of the 2 that were advertised. Overall this wasn't a big deal. We did use the 2 person Kayak that came with the house and it was of nice quality (other than the one folding seat was broken on the Kayak. We also found dirty laundry possibly from previous renters. But overall the house appeared clean! We enjoyed all the community amenities as well! Would definitely return!

Overall, the house and location were great for our family. We spent ample hours outside fishing, kayaking, riding bikes, taking walks, and at the beach. The game room was a huge hit with our kids, and it was nice that it was a separate space to let us all have our own space from time to time.The house itself is spacious and the kitchen is stocked with dishes & cooking tools. We used Instacart to order groceries to be delivered shortly after we arrived, which was a game changer. Pay attention to the bedroom details. The primary room is a loft above the main floor, so not a lot of privacy. There's only one TV in the house and it's Roku but doesn't allow you to download any apps to watch your own streaming services. That was disappointing, as we were hoping to be able to watch our Orioles play. We were eventually given a code to attempt to download our local app, but the code didn't work. The listing, and the guidebook that is sent after you book, both indicate that there are kayaks (plural) but there is only one available. Additionally, if you bring your own kayak from home, you won't be able to use it in the community lake, as it has to be registered. When we attempted to register it at the start of our trip, we were told by the community office that only the owner of the house could register boats. Aside from that, we made the most of our time here. Would recommend as long as you know all of the ins and outs.

Family Fun

Great time for all!Swimming, playground, bikes, fishing, kayaking, hiking, ziplining and more. House is nice for family to enjoy each other with fire, s'mores and games.

Something for everyone!

Celebrated a family birthday milestone with adult children and family. We have four kids (adults now) and this property would have been perfect for them as children….just like it was perfect for them now. Gorgeous lake, beach, horse shoes, corn hole, fire pit, Cowboy Lounge game barn, grill, plenty of room inside, well stocked kitchen and comphy beds. What more do you need? It’s here. Only problem was, our stay was too short. :)

A beautiful home and a perfect private area with the lake. The house was very clean, the environment was wonderful and it was in a great area. Everything is supplied at the house. You just have to show up and enjoy it. No complaints at all and really enjoyed our stay with a family of four. Worth noting about something that didn’t impact us, but one of the bedrooms is technically part of the loft, but more than took care of us easily.

Nice stay, but attention to detail needs improvement

Overall, the cabin was really nice, in a nice neighborhood, and on a lake. A beautiful stay!However, we ran into issues with what they promised was provided:-Cleaning products and empty drink cans were left out, so the cleaning wasn't very thorough prior to our arrival.-There were no towels or toiletries, other than 2 washcloths per bathroom. We would have brought our own, but the website said that they were included. Once I made the management aware around 8am, we were told they would arrive by 10:30am. Due to a lack of communication, we were not told when they were dropped off and didn't find them until almost noon. We ended up having to cancel and reschedule plans due to this.- The website boasts that there is a BBQ grill available with an extra propane tank. We were not able to use the grill because the attached tank was stuck closed, and we could not swap it out for the other tank, because it was empty. Super inconvenient.-Prior to arriving, the team texted me - to which I responded. Later they called to ask why I had not responded. I texted back about the call (because I thought it might be spam), they told me to disregard it. I was at work, and not able to respond to every message, and the call/texts were excessive.We would stay again, but communication needs improvement. Promised amenities that were not provided lead to massive inconvenience during a holiday weekend. There were many positives, but attention to detail could be better for the management team.

It was great!

Our stay was great! They had everything we needed, I have 8 kids and my oldest is 16 and my youngest are 3 month and every one was happy and had a great time. The house has a lot of space. Everything very clean. My family can’t wait to stay again in the summer time.

Great house with lots to do

Beautiful location and gathering spaces with fun game room, cozy fire pit and outdoor seating. Everything was clean and check in was easy. Only thing to note is that one of the bedrooms is actually in a loft that is open to the downstairs area.

Overall a pretty great place

We enjoyed our stay at the Carebear cabin. The location was perfect, and we loved being right on the water. Great sunsets!! The only reason I couldn’t give it a 10/10 was because I felt like the property manager was great at apologizing for the problems we encountered but never offered a workable solution. For example, the dishwasher never worked while we were there, but no one was willing to come to the house to try to fix it for us, so we spent a lot of time washing dishes (for 8 people) by hand. Two other things to note would be that the boats are only available seasonally. And it’s really a 2 bedroom house, since the third bedroom was actually an open loft above the dining area. But overall the house was nice and very functional for us. The kids loved the game room and the jacuzzi tub. We would consider coming back if we needed a place to stay in the poconos.

Fun lake front property with great outdoor apace

This house was in a nice quite family friendly community. Plenty of space on the first floor and the outdoor space was amazing. Linen and towels were provided. I will be recommending this place to my friends.

A unique place

Stayed here recently for a guys weekend in the Poconos. We enjoyed the fire pit and the provided firewood. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The view of the lake is a nice treat and the deer are super chill.

We can’t wait to come back!

This house is in the best location just a few minutes to the beach and lake. Our boys loved swimming in the lake & jumping off the dock. And don’t even get me started with the Cowboy Lounge. We had many game nights and our two boys ages 7&9 absolutely loved the video games and ping pong. We will definitely be coming back!

Serene and fun family vacation spot

Although we ran into a few obstacles the first day (not enough linens, broken jacuzzi, etc), our week at this property was amazing. There is so much to do, both out the house and at the “beach” right down the block. Our favorites were floating in tubes on the lake, playing pool in the cowboy lounge, and sitting on the little deck by the lake each morning and evening. We also did trips to Kalahari and Boulder Field, which were both easy to access and so much fun. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. The location of the house within the community is ideal.
