Make sure you drive something with FWD! The gravel road to the house is very long and winding. We were surprised to see a deck under construction when we arrived. There were building materials left out, including nails on the ground. It would have been helpful to know beforehand as we had our 3 small children with us. When we first arrived, the water was not working. I messaged the host and got a quick response and she sent a neighbor over who was able to find the problem and fix it quickly. We noticed the water backing up in the shower and toilets if two or more people shower back to back. The basement (where the daybed is) was too cold for anyone to sleep down there at night. It’s controlled by the same thermostat as the main floor, but we couldn’t get it warm enough without it being too hot on the main floor. Turns out it was for the best, since we found mouse poop in the sheets later. The hot tub was nice, but beware of screws sticking up on the deck/back porch! Overall we had a good time, but probably won’t book this house again.

Great choice for my family staying for a night. We traveled here for a wedding and the town is cute to spend the afternoon then go for a mountain adventure. The house was as advertised and good for my large family. Lots of stairs

Very spacious and well appointed cabin. We had a very enjoyable stay. The beds are very comfy. My favorite part is the porch and just sitting outside. My two young adult daughters and grandson loved the game room. Great laundry access too. Host Michele is amazing and provides great communication! Overall 5 stars!!

Great communication with the host. There were no surprises. Very reasonably priced for a 3 bedroom cabin. Loved the hot tub. Comfortable master bedroom & en-suite on main floor. Great that we could bring our 15 year-old mini golden doodle with us.

The cabin is wonderful. Everything we needed for a week. Blairesville is very close for groceries, and all the other towns we wanted to visit are within an hour. Brasstown Bald is a must, such beautiful views! The beds were very comfortable, the house is very clean, with plenty of room to spread out. Thank you for the hospitality Michelle!

We stayed here while hiking the AT nearby. Great location close to Vogel state park and lots of hikes. Blairsville is about 20 min away has a good selection of restaurants and grocery. The cabin was cute and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There seemed to be an issue with water pressure, but we alerted our host and she was very apologetic. I’m assuming that is a temporary problem. Overall we had a great stay!

Very quiet and peaceful location. Cabin was exactly as expected based on the photos. Nicely decorated and very well stocked! Kids loved the game room! If arriving at night, can be difficult to find the driveway. Definitely would stay again!

Family Vacation

Stayed end of May 2023 with five adults and One small dog. Communication w/host was top notch. She even offered suggestions for things to do. We did have a few hiccups during the stay. The picture of the place is spot on but, the drive up to the home was a little tough with my SUV (gravel drive at a steep grade) and spun the tires each time we wanted to go to the front door so a regular car might have an issue without four wheel drive. There are two ways to enter the driveway, one is steep(30 degrees) and the other is 25 degrees but at least you have a running start to go up the latter, just be careful of the rocks on both sides of the driveway (needs to be wider). The hot tub was a nice place to relax after a day of hiking to soothe achy muscles but it did block access to the picnic table and grill on the porch which required slight acrobatics to maneuver around. All in all, a great vacation to get away from it all. Other issues were discussed with the host and those things will hopefully be addressed for future renters.

Excellent, mountain getaway!

My family and I had a very relaxing stay at this cabin. My wife, four boys and our dog all enjoyed the property. The boys loved exploring the woods and creek right on the property. They found countless salamanders and craw fish. We enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit and even cooked a meal on the crate provided. The hot tub was relaxing, the games in the basement/garage were all a hit. Highly recommend for a family getaway! The host is very responsive to any questions you may have as well!

Long Weekend Stay

Our family loved this getaway! We had a great time with our daughter and her friend who thoroughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The cabin had all of the amenities we needed. I recommend making sure your arrival time is during sunlight hours as the winding roads can be tough to navigate. Town is about a 20 minute drive and arriving in the evening with a car full meant another drive out for groceries, so I suggest making your grocery run prior to arrival or try to arrive during daylight hours. I would definitely recommend this cabin stay to friends and family!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Michele’s cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! So cozy and decorated perfectly! Well stocked and full of things to do!!! Great Christmas Getaway in the Mountains!!

What a wonderful getaway this was for us and right at Christmas time! We love the location of the cabin….Vogel State Park and Helton Creek Falls are in short driving distance. The property was very clean and we love the set up of the cabin. Communication with property manager was very seamless and she does a phenomenal job! As far as the cabin goes we absolutely loved the “bear decor”, especially enjoyed the game room and ended our nights in the hot tub. Definitely what we needed….lots of wonderful memories made!

Nice weekend getaway!

We rented this cabin to attend a wedding at a venue just down the road. It was clean and had much to entertain the family. My kids are teens/young adults but they enjoyed the game room. We did not get to take advantage of the hot tub but it looked relaxing. Michele was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We would stay there again if in the area.

Very quiet and beautiful!

We had a great time with our son and fiancé. We sat out on the porch and listened to the birds and wild life! It very peaceful and Michele was very quick to respond to any questions. Very beautiful home.
