Great location for us.

Downstairs bed is too high. Bed, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Drip coffee machine did not work. Nice and quiet neighborhood.

Home needs a look over

Honestly, I wasn’t impressed. property on the outside needs cleaned up too many leaves no grass maybe some underneath the leaves.. porches need to be cleaned off better. Bed was up too high. It was over 4 foot Ridiculously high was not good for older couple. The pictures in the paper listing did not show the bed this high for one thing. The TV was no good. There was no TV downstairs an older couple cannot run up and down the stairs all day looking at a library TV. It should be a TV downstairs with cable vision for one thing and a nice area rug underneath the table would be nice. It was just too cold because it was damp because of no carpets on the floor. Spices be nice in the kitchen. We only had salt and pepper.. sofa was not comfortable at all had to put a sheet on there or a bit Quil boot to make it feel comfortable to sit down on because it was cold to your back there was a lot of issues to the place that needs to be redone and looked into the whole place needs to be re-looked over before renting again. I advise. downstairsmeriganymore

tired old cabin with a bang

Pictures show a new updated cabin.Everything was Well used no mattress pads on the beds. And the garbage cans are both overflowing.to our surprise found a loaded nine millimeter pistol in the Nightstand fully loaded Just glad we didn't have young children staying with us. Being corporate owned we will stay with the mom and pops vrbo

Review

Place was beautiful only complaint is no AC 3 nights out of the 4. Filled complaint was advised to turn off let rest turn back on. Nothing worked then said box fans to use but no box fans. I feel I should get some credit for as much as we paid to have no cool air !

Wonderful Stay!

My dog and I had a blast staying here! It was the perfect location to day trip into Bluridge and Hiawassee! The cabin itself was the perfect secluded getaway, and I had fun exploring Blairsville!

Nice place dog friendly

Very nice property and nicely decorated. Comfortable and cozy. Love the fenced backyard. Water line broke Friday morning on our last 2 days. So, no water. Not property owners fault. Options that Vacasa gave us were not good for us because last 2 days were wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner and finally wedding. After several frustrating phone calls with them, finally settled we could stay but no offers of discounted rates for our last 2 days. Couldn’t leave to offered other place due to events that were happening. Overall, still good and would stay there again.

Almost trouble free

Very beautiful secluded lovely immaculately clean and cozy cabin. However a working TV, especially downstairs should be standard. We had to go to Walmart and buy a small TV. Also, management neglected to give us complete directions to open the coded lock and we froze for an hour trying to get into the cabin in the dark. Beds were so high we slept on the couch.

Enjoyable stay in cozy cabin

We enjoyed staying there; it's a fairly rustic cabin stylewise, with nice western furnishings, including some great artwork and different wildlife themes for each room. Easy to operate gas log fireplace, nice kitchen and baths, well-furnished but maybe could use some spices in the kitchen. Beautiful surroundings, and plenty of room outside for pets to stretch their legs, inclu a fenced backyard. Only negatives would be that the bed in lower bedroom is inconveniently high for average adult to get in and out of, especially with physical issues (back or knee problems, etc.), and people with dogs need to clean up after them carefully in the fenced in area. Overall we loved the place.

Always a great time

This is our second time in this cabin there are no real complaints, the only problem was that the ice maker didn’t work, so we had to go out and get ice, which wasn’t a big deal. But I did forget to get my burger out of the microwave sooo sorry!! Can’t wait till next time.

Not quite as advertised

The photo of the front of the house must be 10 plus years old. The trees are much more mature. The little bit of gravel has grass growing in it. The fenced backyard was a mud pit, so we couldn’t let the dogs run. The driveway entrance is a very tight turn for a full sized pickup truck. There’s no dishwasher. The house was in pretty good shape, not as clean as I’d expect, post pandemic. It was quiet and we made the best of it. Need to trim the trees along the driveway and in the backyard. Let some sunlight in to dry out the place. By the time you add in the extra fee’s from VRBO you are paying almost twice what it should have cost. Lesson learned.

Misleading

Inside had cobwebs and smelt moldy. AC unit could not cool second level till the sun went down. Back deck and yard was really bad and not usable. Large muddy dog prints everywhere. Master bedroom mattress was caved into the center. Old wore out, non maintained home. Could not sleep

Lovely cabin

Close enough to what we wanted to do. The cabin was clean, very cute on decor and we will definitely return. Only small issue but could have been us not the cabin, the upstairs was hot. Seems like ac wasn’t keeping up for both floors. Again minor issue for us and could very well been operator error.

Nice place, needs some attention to make it perfect

We were impressed. Had a couple issues. Freezer, wash machine. Hot water didn't last. Outside windows very dirty. Backyard would be great if it had a little grass. But we will be back. Hopefully all issues are corrected.

Happy Trails

We came to escape Hurricane Ian. Property was nice and quiet... My dogs loved the yard. I would suggest maybe leaving a fake there for guests. I would have loved to take up the back yard. The leaves made it a little slick and hard to pick up after the dogs. The house was amazing and the furnishings we're beautiful. My only complaint inside was no cable tv. I would have loved to watch the hurricane updates, but had to rely on my cell phone. I could not imagine being in a hotel room for 4 nights with 2 dogs. I would definitely do this again... But only if there is cable.
