"A lovely property in a picturesque small farm setting with everything one needs. Mostly importantly, it was really comforting to have clean smelling towels and bed linen. We appreciated the veggie garden and kids loved feeding and spending time with the chickens. Lovely, friendly hosts who we had the pleasure of briefly meeting on our way out. "What a wonderful step into a 1950 cottage. It had a well equipped kitchen and the bedrooms are spacious. Luxurious bed linen and towels. Dog friendly is what we loved the most even though there isnt fencing around the house, you dont need it cause the place is very elevated. Beautiful views from the outdoor verandah and deck. "Loved our stay at The Black Cockatoo. We felt quite secluded, despite being a 5 minute walk from the small town ( pub, cafe, shops) Our room was really spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. "What an amazing place to take some time out with the family. The cabin is beautiful, comfy and cozy. The farm fresh eggs and fruit on arrival was an unexpected bonus. But the highlight of our stay was helping to feed the animals each morning. Luke and Kes were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again"

"We stayed at Luke and Kes’s little hobby farm and it was a slice of heaven. Luke is amazing with knowledge of the local area and has a great sense of humour. He is very helpful too. Feeding the animals and learning about them was incredible. The accommodation was so clean and well appointed. The mattresses were quite hard so if you have a back issue maybe consider a mattress topper. We felt like we had been there for ages after only a short stay. Definitely a piece of paradise."
