Nice house and location but...
....the property had not been cleaned to a standard we expected, especially as we pay a cleaning fee. One bathroom had dirty towels, there were cobwebs inside and outside the back bedroom and the floor in the kitchen/lounge area was dirty - we know because we swept it clean shortly after arrival.

Hi David, Huge apologies for the mess on your arrival. Our regular cleaner was temporarily unavailable, so we used another cleaner that was highly recommended Unfortunately the standard wasn’t at our usual high level and our amazing cleaner has returned. Once again our most sincere apologies!

Great relaxing cottage
Really loved staying at the property with my family. Well kitted out house with lots of things to use like a proper family house. Excellent for the kids with their own outdoor kitchen. Very peaceful and quiet spot.

Loved our stay at Quinees
We enjoyed a super relaxing stay at Quinees in Blackheath. Really nicely laid out cottage with modern touches and old school charm. Beds were really comfortable with premium linen and the proximity to hikes nearby was awesome. Loved having Black Cockatoos right outside as well as loads of other native birds. Nice and quiet at night. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Absolutely fabulous!
A gorgeous home for a family to stay in. Our hosts provided excellent information as to how to get there and how to clean up. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Beautiful back and front yard for kids to play in. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Enjoy Dining in Lovely Huge Kitchen, Be Pampered in Gorgeous Long Bath & View Breathtaking Sunset
What an incredibly beautiful home where every corner is simply a delight! The moment we stepped in, we fell in love with this beautiful home. We enjoyed cooking our steak dinner etc the first night in the beautiful country kitchen with top notch kitchen items, having breakfast around the kitchen island in the next 2 mornings. It has pretty quality teas like digestive, calming etc, plus a coffee pod maker and complete with quality utensils, cups and plates. We love the modern bathroom with its gorgeous long bath, showers and quality bathing soap, shampoos and even hands plus body lotion. The owner provides the best of the best for pampering moments, including some bathing salts too. Don't miss the incredible sunset view among the valleys just down the road from this home in the evening. We watched it both evenings and were so glad we did, capturing its awesome beauty and embracing the cool air. We found the star-gazing light and we put it up where it shines around the living ceiling. This was great for watching movies on the TV during the night. The games included the poker games with chips that we enjoyed playing. The comfortable couch in the other corner is great for lazing in and reading a book. We had such a special time as 7 adults of us as a family in this home that we truly appreciated all the little yet high quality tasks that the owner truly considered to make us feel so wonderful.

Highly recommend - very homely and comfortable
We stayed at the property for a week over the September school holidays - 2 adults and 2 children. The accommodation is very comfortable and felt like ‘home’, especially with the open fire. There was plenty of wood supplied. My youngest (10yrs) loved the rear of the house and the king bed and his own bathroom. The location is great and we travelled to Katoomba for activities. The communication was very punctual and check in was very simple. We would love to stay again.

We loved staying here! It is a beautiful cottage with a huge yard that was great for our dogs. Everything was clean with great amenities. Hoping to return on day to see the garden in full bloom.

Fantastic, family friendly property. The photos do not do it justice. Fabulous for 2 families where 2 bedrooms were at the front and 2 at the back. Loads of toys, games and the backyard cubby and trampoline were a total bonus. The house was well kept, warm and comfortable and we highly recommend!

Mountain Bliss
This is my 3rd stay in this house and it is delightful every time. Located in a good part of Blackheath, with walks nearby. I love the property and its quaint charm. It is a great space for families and the kids love it too with the special kids room and backyard. It's a beautiful space with nice bedrooms, bathrooms and a great kitchen. I look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful home for a family weekend
We had a magical weekend at this fantastic property perfect for families. Set on a beautiful street, the house had plenty of space for the six of us to spread out. Quinees is charming and thoughtfully equipped with everything you will need. Our boys loved the trampoline! We will be back!

Fabulous House in Blackheath
Fabulous house in a quiet corner of Blackheath, very well set up with everything you could possibly need, lots of space, perfectly clean and comfy, heating in every room and a lovely fireplace which had been lit for our arrival and was very welcoming. A lovely garden and outdoor areas too. Easy communication with the owner when booking. Clear instructions for entry and operating heating etc. Highly recommended and the house is more spacious than it appears from the photos.

Great place, everything you need

Worth a visit
This is our fourth stay at Quinees and it never disappoints. Always clean, tidy, well stocked it’s like a hone away from home. Easy stroll to blackheath, lots of space for a couple of families and plenty of space for the dogs. Highly recommended

Character filled sunny mountain home. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Beautiful garden. Lots of complimentary firewood to fire up the slow combustion heater for warm cosy evenings.

One of the best in the mountains
This is the second time we have stayed at Quinees. It's in such a nice location next to the edge of the Megalong Valley. Sunsets on the porch are fantastic. The house is set up with all the little details in mind. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need if you are staying in and the lawns and garden are perfect. Take a stroll 10m down the street and turn right along the dirt road for the start of a fantastic loop walk down Potters Pass and along Colliers Causeway and back up Walls Ledge track - its has some tricky bits (steep steps etc) but a great one if you are moderately fit. A short drive up the road and you are in the centre of Blackheath. The IGA is good for a food shop. Pizza and Thai nearby. Great communications and easy access to the property. Susanne was a pleasure to communicate with. Look forward to another stay sometime soon Pete

Fantastic place.
The house is beautiful. Loved the back section and the bathrooms are wonderful. We were lucky enough to get a cold spell in December that allowed us to light the fire. It added to the overall pleasurable experience.

Will Definitely Stay Again!
This home is beautiful! My husband and I loved the farmhouse feel with all the modern amenities. And our pup Poppy thought the large yard and well groomed gardens were exquisite. Next time we’ll be bringing the whole family along as there was plenty of room.

Gorgeous and very comfy!
Our family had a wonderful stay at Quinees. The house is so lovely with many comfy spots to sit and read, relax and look out at the beautiful garden. Our dogs enjoyed their stay too, exploring the secure yard, lying in the sun on the grass and playing with the neighbours' dog. At the end of the street there is a great walk for dogs and a lovely view of the valley. Perfect spot to watch the sunset!
