"This property is in need of some repair and cleaning. There were holes in the baseboard in our bathroom and the vents were dirty. Also, some less than desirable, loud and rude individuals in the room next to us, yelling and screaming while slamming the door back and forth at 2am!! The location is also not the best area, a little run down and noisy."

"Our room was VERY small. Just enough space to walk around the bed and thats it. The radiator was right in front of our toilet. I had to sit sideways on the toilet in order to use it. Seriously!! The front desk gentleman was very friendly and helpful. The hotel served it purpose. Didn't know it came with breakfast, that was a bonus. It was very delicious too."

"The home was very nice, even though some areas needed to be cleaned more often. We liked our room very much and it was comfortable and cozy. The location was great and near the beaches.
However, we were the only guests that night and we felt the innkeeper showed little interest in us and just didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, almost like she wished she didn't have to bother with us.
Breakfast, in particular, was disappointing. We didn't get the advertised "great coffee" from Saugatucck,...

"There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. "
