Easy location to get to. Nice place for a ladies' weekend. Would have liked to stay here when it was warmer to enjoy the deck and fire pit.

What a fantastic place for friends and/or family to get together! The house is set up perfectly for everyone to hang out and be together in common spaces while also giving everyone privacy of their own room and many bathroom options. The "apartment" was directly connected to the house and simply felt like an additional upper level. The home is clean and spacious and well appointed. Our family loved the coffee bar which was fully stocked and provided all the desired accompaniments. It's clear that Beth is a professional when it comes to hosting, she has EVERYTHING you might need - from a full stand mixer to a sewing kit. The location is nicely tucked away down a gorgeous driveway and set upon a small hill. The views were beautiful this time of year(October) whether we were hanging out on the cute porch, seated on the side deck or relaxing in teh back on the deck or large patio. Every angle was gorgeous! A quick trip into Black River Falls is only 10 minutes away where you can grab anything you need at Wal-Mart or sneak away for a lovely downtown stroll and grab a yummy snack or coffee. Beth was very communicative and gave helpful and clear directions. We will stay again!

Dripped on Wedding Weekend

We were here for our daughter's wedding nearby. A luxury home was not our experience. The house was okay but when we had to worry about it because of normal inclement weather, it became a problem. We informed the host of the water problem and she said she already knew about it and was getting it fixed. She did not provide an apology, offer to help us nor ask how to make it up to us. In reality, she could have warned us it was a problem knowing rain was imminent. Another biggie, there were ONLY SIX bedrooms. Positives:Coffee bar with all supplies providedComfy cozy living roomSpaciousSome games to play in basementPatio seatingGrand primary bedroom on main floorClose to the wedding venueGood parkingNegatives:Did not recieve a welcome letter with pass code to get in. Lots of non-working light switches.Low lighting in almost every room.Light switches in bathrooms were over sink making it difficult for elderly parents. Not one mirror/vanity was bright enough to do makeup. Not a single full length mirror.Outdated information given about appliances and house in general.Water leaking from vents in at least 2 bathrooms. We had to put out buckets and worry about it the night before the wedding. She knew about the problem and didn't warn us!Basement under construction: Unfinished and partially open wall, wine cellar dump, plywood. Basement french door that wouldn't stay closed because of poor framing, nor would you know how to lock it because it is not logical.

Nice stay

We recently stayed at this property for a short getaway. The home was clean, and the location worked well for our needs. The space had a unique layout and was generally comfortable. Communication with the host was prompt, and the check-in process was smooth. There are quite a few house rules and signage throughout the home that guests should be aware of ahead of time—it’s clear the host takes care to maintain the property. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated having a place to relax during our trip.

Secluded get away

Beautiful house and property, tons of space, great layout for a large group. Downstairs game room and bar had everything you need, kitchen was open and large enough to gather while cooking. Host was very responsive and easy to work with. Excellent experience!

Annual cousins weekend

This house and its accomdations were above our expections. The property is beautiful and its out in the country so you dont have to worry about having too much fun. The property manager was wonderful and always got back to me if i had any questions within a short period of time. I highly recommend this place.

The place was fine, but we received a pretty aggressive message from the host beforehand listing many rules and consequences of stealing or breaking items. And then when we got there, a number of items were already broken which felt quite inhospitable, especially given the message. All in all it was fine, and worked for our family but the accommodations weren't as welcoming as we had hoped.

Comfortable inspiring setting

This home welcomed us to relax, enjoy each others' company and catch up on lives as we were surrounded by nature's beauty! The beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and stellar for our meager meals and appetizers! Order and cleanliness abounded! The host had small "extras" that made our visit comfortable, e.g. cotton balls and q-tips, coffee and tea, board games and a game room! Especially appreciated the safety features, like a fire blanket and extinguishers. We enjoyed our stay and plan on a return visit!

Family Reunion

Beth is an exceptional host! She reached out to us when we arrived and let us know she was available whenever we needed her. We never did! The property was immaculate and perfect for the family reunion we hosted. We really enjoyed the extra outdoor spaces and beautiful scenery for an evening bonfire. We’ve already booked again for next year’s reunion!

Great week spent with our Kids and Grands!

Beatiful area and property. Beth Rose went out of her way to answer all our questions prior to renting and during our stay. Many things for our whole group to do in the Black River Falls WI area. We spent a day in the Dell's went hiking, golfing, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, Atving, and shopping.

Beautiful secluded space

The house was beautiful. The rooms were all large and spacious. The downstairs area was an amazing surprise, with something for everyone. The view from the patio and upper deck were perfect for morning coffee and breakfast, and great for evening sitting and conversation. Overall the house was fantastic!
