    There's no better way to truly experience the glory of the Blue Ridge Mountains than by lodging in this new luxury log cabin rental, located adjacent ( 20 feet ) to Glade Creek, 12 minutes from downtown Black Mountain ( 25 minutes from Asheville ). Hideaway at Highrock is the perfect example of the very best that the Blue Ridge Mountain vacation rentals has to offer. The log home is a very special and well thought out, 2 bedroom cabin that can sleep up to 6 guests, with 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. You can sleep comfortably to the sounds of rushing water in the King size master bed, or the King size bed on the ground level or the queen sleeper in front of the wood burning fire place ( FREE FIRE WOOD IS PROVIDED ). Amenities include: Free Wi Fi, land line phone, 4 person soothing Hot Tub on the expansive deck overlooking the creek, 8' regulation pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, 4 HDTVs and two Blue Ray players, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a massive exterior hard-wood deck that includes cedar rocking chairs and a round picnic table, and a gas grill, horse shoes, hammocks, and outdoor picnic tables. There is also a 42" open wood burning fire place and an outdoor fire pit next to the creek, fire wood is provided. Hiking trails and the privacy of your own creek are just footsteps away from the home! This is a mountain cabin rental that takes mountaintop luxury to a new summit!

    Pet policy - Dogs welcome, $50 pet fee per dog over 15 lbs, 3 dog limit. If selected, Pet Fee for 1st dog will be included in booking charges. Any Pet Fee for additional dogs will be charged separately after your reservation is processed.

Late Spring family trip

My husband, two college aged sons, and I spent a week in this peaceful cabin. The location was perfect. The cabin is close enough to the town of Black Mountain to go out to a nice restaurant or shop but was secluded enough to have peaceful mountain cabin experience. I can’t wait to visit again.

This home is definitely one of my favorites! Secluded, comfortable and clean. The roads to get to the house are a bit nerve wracking, particularly where some major washout occurred, but they’re working hard to fix them. We played ping pong and pool, enjoyed the fire pit, and saw so much wildlife, including a black bear we named Josh. Definitely will be returning!

Relaxing time and vacation

This vacation rental is great and the owner is fantastic. I ran into to him on several occasions and had conversations on the area, things to do, and places to eat. If you want to get away and still be fairly close to a lot of cool things to do, this is the place!!! This was my second stay there and I will be back!

Black Mountain getaway

The home and grounds were beautiful. The home had everything we needed to enjoy cooking, ping-pong, hot tub, hiking and the fire. The road in was a little rough, but overall a great spot. The town of Black Mountain was super cute and convenient.

Amazing Cabins and Amazing People

The property is amazing. Our stay happened to be during a natural disaster. The hosts Mike and Beverly did everything they could to ensure we were comfortable and safe at the expense of their own comfort.

Weekend getaway

We gave up a mountain view for a creek side property and we have no regrets. The sound of the flowing creek created a peaceful setting. The house was very clean and well furnished. We felt at home. There were plenty of games to keep us occupied. This is a great place for couples or families.

Loved everything!

This was an amazing house and absolutely loved the creek running beside the house!! I could have stayed out there. The town of Black Mountain was awesome, loved the shopping and how friendly everyone was! Make sure you eat at Trail Head, food was great! We will be back 😄

Great stay with our teens and dogs

We visit Black Mountain every year and our teen boys said this is the best place we’ve ever stayed. They played a lot of pool, relaxed in the hot tub and spent hours in the creek with our dogs. I could have spent the entire weekend on the porch, just listening to the creek. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. We appreciated the directional signs on the drive to and from the property. A wonderful, relaxing getaway!

Relaxation heaven

This property is beautiful. Exactly as advertised. Very clean, kitchen was very well equipped, we cooked most of the time we stayed. Close enough to shopping in the little mountain villages, or Asheville. Great place. We will definitely book again. Just a note, you are going to the mountains so take a vehicle that can handle rough terrain as the driveway is steep. Really enjoyed this place.

cabin in the hills

Amazing cabin, very secluded and private. It was clean,comfortable, had everything we needed for our week stay. We did a lot of exploring/hiking the Blue Ridge parkway, Mt Mitchell and Chimney Rock, enjoying lots of scenery. Town of Black Mt. is a nice small town, lots of good eats and brews. Back to cabin before dark, soaking in hot tub, listening to stream, enjoying the stars, having a fire. Was a great week

Great stay in Black Mountain!!

The cabin is fantastic only surpassed by the setting!! We look for a vacation for our dogs each year, preferably near water for them to play in; this was PERFECT!!! The cabin itself is very comfortable, well laid and appointed very nicely; above most other rentals we've stayed in the past. The kitchen had everything you need including, a rental rarity, SHARP KNIVES!!! I cook quite a bit when on vacation so this is especially important to me and was a nice bonus! All in all, a great stay and I would expect we'll be back soon and often!

Beautiful property

This property was stunning. We enjoyed all that Black Mountain and the surrounding area had to offer. I was glad we had a vehicle with 4 wheel drive to navigate the back roads. It probably wasn’t necessary, but us Michigan flat road drivers were glad to have it! Would 100% recommend this property to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Black Mountain

Hands down this was the most beautiful property that we’ve stayed in yet. We’ve rented many cabins, but this cabin is a piece of paradise. It rained everyday of our trip so we missed out on hiking to the pond, however, the horseshoes, creek, and pool table provided plenty of good old-fashioned family fun and togetherness. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We look forward to staying again in the near future. God bless you and your family.

Best time ever while raining

This place was fabulous and I will be returning often. I was looking for a place near Black Mountain, as my granddaughter is attending Montreat. Even though it was raining, we had a great time. Grilling out, watching games on tv, seeing and watching the wildlife. It was just unbelievable and a wonderful place to stay and visit. I would highly recommend!!!
