You will have access to the entire property with the exception of the owner's closet.

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. You can easily check yourself in upon arrival and I'm just a phone call or message away if you have any questions.

Good to Know:

– Cooling & Comfort: The cabin is equipped with window A/C units (installed June–October) that keep the home cool and comfortable during the summer months. Guests often comment how refreshing it feels, even in warm spells.
-The indoor gas fireplace is available October-March. The gas stove in the basement is disconnected.
– Two spiral staircases add charm and character—please plan accordingly
– The home is on a steep, fully paved mountain road — 4WD is recommended in snowy weather.
– Smart lock keypad for easy entry.
– Thoughtful welcome guide provided with our favorite local recs.
– One magical aspect of Black Mountain is the chance to see wildlife — deer, wild turkeys, and occasionally even a black bear.
