Perfect Christmas
My wife and I stayed at the cabin for Christmas with our three kids and everyone absolutely loved it. The house was amazing. Beautiful, clean and well kept. It will definitely go down as one of our greatest Christmas memories ever and we will hopefully be able to go back one day.

Fantastic stay
The cabin was lovely and well appointed with plenty of everything, even good knives for cooking. It was a bit of a stretch to say 11 beds, only four of them are real beds, plus there were a number of pull out couches and ottomans.

Cabin Stay
It was a lovely spot to stay, especially since we were able to bring our puppy. The owner's were very easy to reach when we needed to find their space heaters. An absolute great spot to stay for 4!

Blackhawk retreat
Our family really enjoyed our time at this property. The cabin is spacious and really pretty and we enjoyed the nice open layout and big living room. Kids loved having the loft area. Star gazing at night was fantastic on the deck. The pictures did make it seem like it would be more isolated, but its in a really nice, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come back again!

Fun thanksgiving visit in the mountains
The cabin is clean, well-equipped and updated nicely. It is close to hiking, and relatively close to restaurants, etc in Boulder or Golden. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our trip!

Picturesque Cabin
We loved the house inside and out. It is exactly what you picture when you think of winter in Colorado. The owners responded quickly with questions. It was a very simple in and out. We would definitely book again.

Traveling Girls 2021 Trip
The Black Hawk Cabin is very beautiful with a fantastic view from the front porch. Very comfy beds. Easy communications with owners. Would have liked a few more days to take advantage of the fire pit and outside offerings. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful stay
We really enjoyed our stay — the house is beautiful, cozy and well-stocked. We appreciated that there was a good amount of space inside and outside the house with a variety of good areas to hang out including a great patio that wraps and a backyard area with a firepit. Easy and quick communication. All good here!

Great property!
Overall we had a great stay here at this beautiful cabin like home. Slight issue getting in to the garage at check in time with the wrong code, but was able to call the Vrbo number and get in. The neighbors have some dogs that bark a decent amount, but other than that the area was great. House was very clean and updated. Master bedroom upstairs is amazing. We would definitely recommend staying here to anyone coming to the area!

Great spot and a great time
This place was a wonderful getaway and proved to be everything we wanted for a reunion weekend. Spacious house with a good sized yard. Well stocked with kitchen/grill supplies and bedding was very comfortable. Hosts were easy to contact and listing was accurate. Would stay again.

Love this place!
We came to spend time together as a family and be in the mountains. This cabin was perfect, it is beautiful the layout is great for a lot of people the kitchen was wonderful to cook in. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place

Wonderful Cabin in the Front Range
Great experience and beautiful cabin to rent near Black Hawk. Very clean and inviting, the interior design and furnishings lovely. There are stairs, and being higher in elevation reminds one to take that into consideration. A nice layout and nice wrap around deck for relaxing, listening to the hummingbirds and local chattering squirrel. A good view as well, watching the sunsets and clouds through the tall pines and neighboring mountain. As someone from the Midwest, those mountains and conifers always amaze me. Our only issue was the lp tank fizzling out when about to grill, however a quick run to Taggertz up the road remedied the situation and ready for your new season! We thank our hosts for the opportunity and hope to be back again soon. Safe travels to all!

The Best!
This was by far the cleanest and nicest property we have stayed at. Awesome location and so much more. The place was immaculate and trust me, I have very high/hard to meet standards. The hosts had thought of everything we would need. We felt so at home. Highly recommend!

Nice cabin; clean and fairly new. Comfortable beds/sheets. Well equipped kitchen. Wonderful views all around. A 4wd vehicle is pretty much mandatory in the winter. I would stay again.

Updated cabin close to Denver
Updated cabin only 40+ miles from Denver, but it feels like you are hundreds of miles away. Plenty of room for a family of 4, very clean and has everything you need. Close to Blackhawk/Central City & Nederland.

Charming cabin, but beware of challenging communication
The cabin is charming. The owners are not. I have completed 15 trips with Vrbo since 2014. I have reviewed 10 of those stays. This is my first review less than 5 stars. It was very difficult to communicate with the owners. While their response time was reasonable, information relay was challenging and a series of misunderstandings ensued. Access instructions were requested several times but not provided until less than 4 hours before check-in. On a positive note, this was also the first time I engaged the help of Vrbo Customer Service and they were immediately successful in solving the problem. Don’t hesitate to contact Vrbo if you need help. What was intended to be a weekend getaway turned out to be very stressful. The cabin is charming, but it’s not worth the headache of dealing with these owners.

Long weekend getaway
This mountain cabin was easy to find and it exceeded our expectations. It has a large wrap around deck with plenty of seating, an open and airy kitchen and living room area with plentiful and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. The 3 bedrooms were good sized and comfortable and the property was clean inside and out. Will visit again and recommend to others.

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful time on this property and exploring the area. We were close enough to Boulder, Denver, Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park that we could make it to each one with an easy travel. The property was just as described and fit our family of six perfectly. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath and shower, which offered privacy and the kitchen/living area was large enough for us to gather. Had a great time!

Nice Cabin
We enjoyed our stay in Black Hawk and always love our Colorado time. Cabin worked well for our family, however paying for 6 nights for 2 adults and a child that only stopped by and spent one night wasn’t great. We prefer secluded areas without neighbors close by, and the pictures are somewhat deceiving as there are neighbors close on all sides of this cabin.

Thank you Cindy for choosing to stay with us, it was not 2 people and a child , it was 8 people and 2 dogs, I am very sorry that seeing neighbors bothered you, but thanks to them many of our guests have felt safe in the forest, they have had emergencies and they have run towards them, especially in winter they have been stuck. Very cozy getaway
It was a great long weekend! In a quiet neighborhood, renovated and decorated beautifully. Had games, dog bed, and felt very secluded. Highly recommend blue grouse (I believe that was the name) for a perfect moderate hiking trail. Great park near the market and baseball field as you enter the highway 115. Pizzeria in Nederland was good as well!
