We choose this hotel though expedia... not knowing that when we arrived the hotel was closing forever... not knowing what to do called expedia was told they would get us another hotel... they promised us a free night plus a cheaper rate for the next day...... tjis did not happen as we had to pay again for the stay at the ramada... as we had already paid for a 2 day stay at this hotel.. so our 2 day stay cost us 3 days stay ... needless to say we are not impressed with our expedia relationship....

Cozy, friendly, accomodating, neighborly even...quiet, silent really. Clean and neat. Big tv. Light switches in all the right places. Has old school plugs and built-in kleenex dispenser but all works and super clean. I stayed here 20 yrs ago and even though I has a non smoking room the entiee place reaked of smoke...the whole place seemed run down and dumpy and unkempt. NOT the case now. LOVED it. And its a part of Bismarck history and the dining area is just sweet. You feel a sense of place there, unlike any other chain. A great family or couple or single place to stay. Perfect room, great window treatments even for first floor. Nice clean pool area and decent breakfast for the serve yoursef type...waffle iron and strawberries and yogurt...fresh breads. A very nice stay. I won't shy away from it ever again.

The staff was very friendly, and it was nice and clean . There computer was very outdated and I could get on the internet to use the computer. The breakfast could have been better.

Overall a nice nice area with great, friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised with s nice breakfast. The only downside was our room needed maintenance - the heater was stuck on full blast hot so we turned it off. Also the bathroom sink faucet was broken - only could get cold water.

Just they hadn’t cleared the snow off side walks. I’m disabled... went to start van... ice under snow.. fell on back is handicap area this was 9:00 am... should be clean before people start to leave.. and salted , ice under snow...... where you go onto sidewalk they should have it cleaned out Incase wheel chair... walker...not to pile snow in there. Had cart in evening trying to push it thru snow to get onto side walk...in the sloped area

The room is clean and staff are friendly. Room with 2 queen bed is fit for family of four. The only thing that I observed that should be improved is the room should be provided with refrigerator and bottled water. I can hear some noises in the hallway but it is not the disturbing.

The only accessible power outlet went out during my first week and I immediately reported it to get it fixed. Nobody fixed it for over a week on the day before my checkout. Not only that but on several occcasions the garbage was not emptied and ignored by housekeeping. And on my last night before checkout when I would have left a tip for the housekeeping staff they left the bag containing all other rooms dirty towels and rags open and strewn about the entrance inside my room. The WiFi was a nightmare to connect to, I had to ask for their customer support for it and then directly contact their service provider to have my laptop, console and phone able to connect to it. On top of that Rudy the morning front desk clerk is friendly but the breakfast is hardly that, the coffee is mediocre and when I had to do laundry in the only washer and dryer labeled “For Guests Only” a staff member was doing their persona laundry in them and would leave their personal items in the machines for hours. The pool has rules listed for hygiene purposes yet several families did exactly what was posted that wasn’t allowed such as swimming without a bathing suit or children in diapers that weren’t “swimmer” diapers. Overall the rate was way more than the overall value. The beds themselves are also very uneven and lumpy where some springs are completely shot and others are still stiff.
