"We had 3 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves We made the most of the lovely pool. Had 4 swims in the 4days… the leisure staff were always so helpful and friendly. Very impressed with that and their happy attitudes. We enjoyed the 5*breakfast and ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings. The food was excellent and lots of choice. The staff were super helpful and efficient. Our room was serviced by excellent staff and one particular member really stood out to make our stay comfortable ...

"The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. "

"A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain. Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out. The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked. "We stayed in cottage 3 only one night unfortunately as I could look at that view from our window forever. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
