  • A warm welcome to our vacation paradise in the Vulkaneifel!
    Come enjoy a vacation filled with pure relaxation with us!
    Our vacation rental is fully equipped, located on the first floor, and features a south-facing terrace with a magnificent view of the Kyll Valley. Situated right on the edge of the forest, we offer you a fun-filled vacation in beautiful, unspoiled nature. Take advantage of the beautiful surroundings for long hikes, bike rides, and walks. The Kyll River is right nearby for fly fishing.
    On the spacious terrace, you can enjoy the midday and evening sun.
    The apartment is approximately 45 square meters and consists of a living/dining room, an adjoining small kitchen, a bedroom with a bathroom and a separate toilet, as well as a storage room.
    Dogs are allowed; there are numerous opportunities to walk your dog in the midst of nature right nearby.
    - Towels and bed linens are included.
    - The refrigerator does not have a freezer compartment.
    - TV reception is via DVBT (public broadcasters only—14 channels), plus Smart TV for using your own Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Apple TV accounts, as well as other TV apps such as RTL+
    - Street parking is available in front of the house
    - The property is separated from the street by a wall and a hedge but is not fenced in

Sehr schöne und saubere Wohnung, die mit allem notwendigen sehr liebevoll ausgestattet ist. Wir haben uns mit unserem Hund sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Great stay with a few downsides

Before our stay we had contact with the owner about when we would arrive. The key would be left inside the door for us and someone else would come by to ‘officially’ check us in. That was fine for us. We arrived with no problem, every things was as promised. A very clean appartement and a great garden around it. After a few hours someone came to greet us and this was an interesting experience. It was a very nice woman but she didn’t explain anything about the appartement or the surroundings. We had to ask for some details or we wouldn’t have gotten any. She was very sweet to bring two snack sticks for our dogs but when we kindly declined (our dogs only eat their own food because of our training) she kept pushing on about wanting to give them. Even calling our dogs sad because we didn’t give them treats. Only after repeatidly telling her no she eventually gave up. In all fairness their was a bit of a language barrier but still it wasn’t a great encounter. The appartement itself was as the photo’s would suggest. The garbage is separated and it was very well organized. The TV had Netflix and other useful streaming services. We did miss a few essentials like salt, pepper, cooking oil or handsoap in the toilet. Also the appartement tends to get very damp or moist. We noticed a few times, even without taking a shower, that there was a layer of moist over de floor or furniture. Not very comfortable. To finish off: we had a great stay but there were some downsides.
