Me and my wife and 2 kids and my friend with wife and kid stayed for a week. Communication was excellent and the couple of small issues we had were fixed right away. Any complaints are very small, a few more toilet paper rolls and garbage bags would be nice, a few more towels would be good too. It's a beautiful old house, a few nails sticking up in the floors, bathroom door was loose on its hinges and didn't close properly (we fixed it), none of the bathroom doors have locks on the inside? the freezer side of the fridge was leaking, the spray nozzle on the sink leaks also. But these are very minor things that didn't really impact our stay overall, but as regular short term renters we did notice. Thanks for a great time and what a great city! We had a really fun trip and would recommend this rental to anyone.

Experience with stay

The property was stunning . Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds and in a great location. We had a hard time getting a hold of the owner to get code and had to make many calls to VRBO to be able to get in. Not sure if that’s an owner issue or a VRBO issue. None the less we would stay here again in a heartbeat . We loved it!

Great location, Beautiful home.

Exactly as described in the posting. Beautiful charming home. Beds were very comfortable for our six guests. Plenty of closet space for our wedding attire. Close to every event we needed to go to. Lovely garden deck outback to have your coffee. The front porch swinging chair was a favorite. Highly recommend.

Great historic house in Highland Park!

The house was beautiful, clean, well furnished, and the outside grounds were beautifully landscaped. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. We enjoyed the home and very short walk around the corner for morning coffee at O-Henry's. GREAT stay for my staff team while at a conference in B-Ham.

Large house in Birmingham

Very enjoyable stay at this well equipped house. We were a large party staying for a wedding so slightly disappointed that there was insufficient clothes hangers and towels provided. Also there is a second 'apartment' available to rent but when we booked the accommodation this was not apartment from the website listing and we only discovered this when we were sent the entry information.

Beautiful place

We had a great day. We came in town for a lacrosse tournament and I brought all my coaches there instead of staying in a hotel we decided to stay in the city of Birmingham in this house. It was a beautiful house great parking, easy access, and the house is absolutely beautiful. Well kept and well-maintained, just recommend this to anybody and everybody

Charming Burmingham house

Loved the house. It was everything that’s pictured and more. So beautiful decorated and very comfortable. Visited Birmingham for a wedding with our son and his girlfriend. We found everything we needed and there’s even a coffee shop and restaurant within walking distance.

The house is extremely spacious. The house does maintain some of it’s original rustic features but it is elegantly decorated throughout. We loved the fact that all the bedrooms had king size beds. Highly recommend this property.

Engagement weekend

The house is lovely. It served the needs of our family who came in for our son's engagement. The area and neighborhood were nice. The house provided everything that we needed. I would recommend that you also rent the apartment on the property if you need a living level bedroom. I would book again if I need a home in the area.

Outstanding Rental Property

One of my best ever rental stays. The home is immaculately clean, the beds and linens are first rate. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The property management was polite, available, completely helpful and lovely to deal with. I extended my family's stay and they were immediately responsive and very helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
