Oak shade is the sweetest vacation rental we have ever stayed. The house was immaculate and everything so convenient. Charm plus with decor! Location close to downtown and the beach was perfect for our visit to Cruisin the Coast week. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the stay in the Main Suite. It was the perfect place to stay in Ocean Springs. Everything was supplied in the suite. It was close to everything which made it convenient. It was very clean. Our pup was with us and could go to the beach with us. We will visit again!

Oakshade in Ocean Springs.

Oakshade was well located between the downtownWashington St. restaurants, museums and access to the beach. The property was extremely clean and hadeverything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor screenedporch each evening before dinner. It was very peaceful.

The property and neighborhood are beautiful. We have stayed here multiple times. You can hear a bit of traffic at night leaving the beach but it is not horrible. Easy to walk to the beach. Golf carts are available for rent on Government Street to cruise around the area. Plenty of eats, shops, and parks.

Great location!!

The location of this property was perfect! Especially if you are looking to stay somewhere with kids. It was within walking distance of the beach, close enough that our little ones made the walk easily, and the return walk gave the kids enough time to dust off the majority of the sand. The washer and dryer was a must when taking the kids to the beach. There are two parks just a short walk away as well that my children loved visiting. Overall, the property was beautiful and we had a lovely stay!

So relaxing!

Our favorite place to stay in Ocean Springs, the front porch being our favorite rooms. Beautiful live oak trees, a refuge for birds, squirrels! What a wonderful refuge! Sharing it with friends was amazing! Thank you!

Excellent Southern Charm

Property was fantastic. Lots of attention to detail. Property is well cared for and clean. It was nice to have music and nice scents upon arrival. Also, the AC and fans were kicking when we arrived, so we were very comfortable. Check in and check out was super easy. Beds were comfortable. Having YouTube TV was a nice amenity, and I wish more rentals had something similar. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 10 minute walk to town. Screened in front porch was also enjoyable. Water and ice on the fridge also a plus. One of the better VRBOs I’ve ever experienced. Perfect for my family.

Spacious and well-equipped!

It was wonderful. I have never seen a tree embracing a property like this before. A true miracle tree. The home smelled so clean when I first entered. The bed was soft and comfortable. Soap, towels and hair dryer was provided. The property manager was available instantly when I had a question. My stay was wonderful and I hope I can book this property again in the near future. I can tell that this property is someone’s pride.

Lovely Location Close to Everything

Perfect location that makes you feel like you're a real part of the neighborhood; a very relaxed vibe with lovely giant oaks that's a short walk to the beach and beautiful skyline and a short ride or nice stroll away from great restaurants and shops. Very spacious and unique interior and private outdoor patio area.

Wonderful Home

We love this home and location! This is our second time booking. The location to downtown, the beach, and fishing is what has us coming back. This year we rented a golf cart and had even more fun visiting different areas. One of our favorites was buying oysters off a dock down by the fishing harbor. Wonderful property and perfect location!

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for a relaxing extended weekend away from the hustles of normal life. This was exactly what we wanted. The town is beautiful. Everyone was friendly. The house is in the perfect location and the host is nice and extremely helpful. We were looking for somewhere that was more than just a place to rest your head at night. Everything was just the right blend of calm & quiet and fun & exciting. It really is the perfect place for all ages. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

5 minute walk to gorgeous beach sunset. 10 minute walk to all the Fun, Food & shopping downtown. The Main Suite has comfy beds, and the most ideal screen porch. Cannot wait to go back.
