It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe. "We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Lodge, nestled peacefully in the woods. The setting was calm, relaxing, and the house itself was clean and well-kept. Our favorite spot was the downstairs lounge, where we spent most of our time enjoying the games, television, and pool table. The lounge also opens out to the patio, perfect for evening bonfires under the stars. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again in the near future!"

"From check in to check out easy breezy. Stay Monday-Friday had late check out so we could enjoy a few more moments of serenity. Place was amazing and host was accommodating. Enjoyed the woodsy atmosphere. Weather perfect for us. Went to Antietam National Park visited Harper’s Ferry. Got take out at Paddy’s on our way back from Harper’s Ferry in West Virginia which was amazing. Can’t wait to come back for a second stay. "
