"Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again. "

"This is our second stay at High Pines cabin, and it’s always a pleasure. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoy sitting on the screened in-porch, listening to the rooster crow, or the birds chirping or the river ever cruising by. "The house was perfect for our group. Peaceful, spacious, and super clean. Tucked back on a long private driveway, it felt like our own little escape in the woods, but it was still close to town and the race finish.We had our one-year-old with us and really appreciated how family-friendly the place was. "My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!"

"Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house!"
