"Very nice home and bigger than we expected. Great location just a few minutes from the golf course, fitness center, tennis/pickleball facility, and clubhouse. Home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so very little traffic. Our pups loved the fenced in back yard. There are also miles of hiking trails of various difficulty ratings and at least 3 dog parks. We spent a week in Big Canoe and still didn't get to do everything we wanted there, and in the neighboring towns of Dahlonega, Ellijay,...

"This cabin is so cozy and clean. My husband and I stayed 3 days and did not want to leave. The AC was great. It was fully stocked with everything we needed. Amazing views of the river and easy river access which is why we came. There’s a deck right on the river. We came specifically to relax and have some peace. This place was 100% peaceful and enjoyable. The host is friendly and very responsive. Definitely recommend and we will book again. "

"The cabin is exactly as described. The Big Canoe community is SPECTACULAR, although the main pool shown in the Expedia photos was dirty and closed. However, the marina and the trails were open. Our only issue was that the cottage was delivered to us at 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM because they said it was being cleaned. When we entered at 5:00 PM, the cottage was still not clean. There were two pork chops inside the microwave, spider webs in both bedrooms and on the walls, and the front door, which was white, had black dirt on it that we cleaned ourselves. There was also a fly in the sink of the main bathroom. The bed sheets were clean. We decided to clean and stay anyway because we wanted to enjoy our time."
