Nothing worked

Called ahead for crockpot. No crockpot. None of the recliners worked! Only one working pool stick. Someone came to our door one day before checkout and asked why we were still there. Out let master not working. Blinds in master were broke. Beautiful house needs tlc. Also bunk room next to garage FREEZING!

Big Bear stay in January

Our fam of 12 had an excellent stay at Avalon Retreat in January. Amenities were great and it had plentiful supplies. There were some hiccups during the stay (door code at check in, electrical issue, and my kid locked the bedroom door), but Alison and the property manager were quick to respond each time. There was an incoming storm and the power went out a few times. There were no flashlights to be found. Luckily we brought one and there were a few candles. The beds could use an upgrade. Most other things were minor and would definitely recommend Avalon Retreat!

Great family home

Everything was good here. The pool table foos ball table tv bar area kitchen all in the center allow for fun central gathering! We loved the saddle chairs lol. The cleaning crew could have done better I think they completely missed the bar area but it is a big house. Overall highly recommend! Alison was immediately communicative on anything needed.

Kid friendly.

Great property. Highly recommend for a few couples. The cabin is a bit geared toward kids, which we don't have, but if you do have kids I think it's perfect for you. The owner Alison was excellent! Great at communicating and getting us what we needed asap.

Great Get-Away

We really enjoyed our stay at the Avalon Rd cabin! What a great location and property. It met all of our needs...location, size, cleanliness, amenities, and great owners! The large main room was just perfect, allowing everyone to hang out, socialize, cook, and just enjoy our time together. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and having 3 1/2 bathrooms was a nice bonus. Thank you Alison and Chris for allowing us to enjoy your home away from home!

Birthday Getaway

My sisters and there husbands and I rented a cabin for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Everyone was comfortable and truly enjoyed the beautiful home. It had all the amenities we needed. We loved the games, pool table, bar, spa, and all the TVs. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped. We loved cooking all together and having the open concept so we could be with the whole family altogether whether they were playing pool or at the bar or in the living room watching TV. The home is decorated beautifully and very clean! The master bedroom was so comfortable! I even took a bath while watching TV with the fire on! What a treat! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Asher Family!

Nice home

The property appeared just as depicted in the listing. The great room was very nice and we spent the majority of our time in that room. The kitchen was well stocked. Could use a large pan. And we didn't initially have trash bags and kitchen cleaner but they brought them to us right away when we asked. Our contract said checkin was 3 but Alison sent us an email saying we couldn't get in till 4 and then the house cleaner was still there till about 440. But the house was nice and clean and that's important these days. I was really happy that we hads all of the equipment for the billiard table. We played a lot. And the grill was excellent. The blender was very dirty so we couldn't use it. The neighborhood is very nice and in a very convenient location. It was great to have use of the garage but unfortunately the prior tenants had lost the garage door opener. That should be replaced right away as it is fairly inconvenient to walk up the stairs everytime you leave the garage. Ovrrall a very nice place and I would definitely recommend to a family or group of friends

Amazing! We didn't want to leave!

We loved our stay at Fox Farm. The home was clean and beautiful. So much room for us to relax and play. Between the pool table, foosball table, and hottub, we were never out of things to do. We didn't want to leave! Can't wait to get back soon. We had no problems at all and any questions we had were answered very quickly.

Oh my Goodness, this place does not disappoint!

Hello VRBO Patrons! My family and I rented this cabin during the week of March 16, and let me tell you, it was awesome! It is EXACTLY like the pictures. Super clean and well-maintained! The saddle bar-stools were a huge hit with both the kiddos and the adults! Kitchen was well appointed and super user friendly. The bedrooms we all clean and fresh and the beds were comfy. The bunk room is downstairs and all the kids slept there and had a blast. We would absolutely go back! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!
