The property management company was so easy to work with and very responsive. The cabin itself was beautiful. The house was very clean. The surrounding area was gorgeous and so quiet. I had a full house with 12 people and it was the perfect space for us all. The teenagers with us spent 2 days at the mountain snow boarding and it was a 5 min drive to drop them off and pick them up. The only downfall to the property is there is no working fireplace. The one in the living room doesn’t work and even upon contacting management they advised it was removed from the property amenities and I must have missed that when booking. The fireplace in the downstairs bedroom is beautiful but not meant for heat.All in all we’d go back and stay there. We travel in big groups and we all had an amazing time.

Beautiful property

Better than I expected. Everything was clean and in order. Bbq worked great, and more than enough space for a few families. Property management company didn't answer vrbo messages, but once I contacted them over phone, they were very responsive via txt.

Big Bear

The property was nice but with a few exceptions. 1. Defiantly needs some TLC, curtains off rods, only two dish towels for a house that accommodates 12. Fan in upstairs bedroom is not working properly even after maintenance man came to fix it. 2. Surrounding yard needs loads of work, a real eyesore. Retaining wall by driveway has collapsed. 3. Interior is lovely, spacious and comfortable. Best equipped kitchen we have experienced. 4. Photos showed a deck with numerous chairs, there were only two. When I called the management company I was told that is the owners responsibility. Come on for the price of this property buy some chairs and bill the owner. We had 6 folks and pulled dining room chairs out to the deck. 5. Called for maintenance assistance twice, both gentlemen were excellent. The fan that was not functioning was a gonner but the maintenance man tried his best. High praise for these gentlemen. 6. Master bedroom mattress was horrible, worst mattress I have ever steal on. Have some other minor issues but no going to bore you. Was moderately disappointed.

Nature!!!!

Part of what to expect in or around the house was that there may be wild animals, insects, etc. I have to say that was right on point, I found medium size spiders under the sheets of the master room bed and single room upstairs, around the restroom by the laundry room. Having children that was concerning. I think that has to do with the duration the house is not occupied. Maybe if the house gets cleaned a day prior to a new guest arrival, to make sure that the beds are clear of spiders or other insects would be nice. Not upset about it. Over all, GREAT PLACE!!! everything worked well.

Cute place but had issues with the showers

The cabin is in a great location, right next to the zoo. It also has a great backyard. BUT the cabin has 2 showers and when we arrived we got a message that one of them doesn’t work. We were 11 people! To make things worse, the downstairs bath and shower that worked had unreliable water temperature. We were giving our 2 year old a bath and all of a sudden the water got scalding hot and burned him. When I contacted for service I was told there is nothing they can do about it. I would recommend this place if the showers functioned properly.

Beautiful & spacious cabin

This cabin exceeded my expectations! Very spacious, clean & well equipped for a large group. Check in process was very smooth and communication was thorough. Favorite part of the cabin was definitely the views! I would book this again.

Beautiful Cabin

This property was great for our family. The pool table upstairs in the loft was fun. The kitchen was huge. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching the golfers. The woodwork in the cabin is unique and impressive. Will definitely be coming back. The house does get very warm in the summer so most of the windows were open at night. The location is quick and easy to get anywhere.

Fantastic Property

I stay in Big Bear about every 2 years or so. This property, by far, was the most well-crafted, elegant, and comfortable accommodation. The Master Bedroom suite was wonderful, the kitchen efficiently laid out, and the back porch overlooked the golf course, allowing for a relaxing post-dinner atmosphere to sit and chat.

Great location. Amazing view of golf course

Nice quiet area on the golf course. House was clean and had everything we needed. Even all the streaming services and cable tv included. Fun watching all the golfers during the day and night. Will definitely book this cabin again

Loved the location and the house.

Loved the location and the house. It was nice that the golf course was closed because it made it quieter. However the golf course is private property so I guess you can't walk on the paved strip next to the housed. Security told us we were unable to walk there. I love the floor plan and the huge refrigerator . The laundry room was spacious however I did not like the washer drier as it kept turning off on its own after about 10 mins and we would constantly have to power it back up. It didn't even let me change the setting to delicate and was only stuck on one option. Someone else also mention that the upstairs get really hot. It really really does get HOT! Even with the windows open there is no breeze on the street side so I was hot all night while the master bedroom was cooler. Communication was easy through text and they also approved late check out until 1pm which we only needed an extra hour after the regular checkout. The location was great and not far of a drive to groceries and other stores. The house had salt and pepper and few other spices. I assumed that they would have sugar as most places have coffee and would have sugar but to my surprise it did not. You also need to bring you own shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent/softener. OVERALL, We will rent this place again.

Great stay after property move

Destination Big Bear was fantastic. After our first property had a water issue, they quickly helped us locate a new property, which was fantastic. Could not be more happy with the level of service and cooperation. Great group.

Beautiful cozy cabin

We had a lovely couple days here with my family. The 2nd floor gets too warm when your trying to warm the lower level. Perfect location for what we wanted. Walked to the zoo and enjoyed the snow shower just outside with the kids. The fireplace was one of the reasons we choose this property. It unfortunately would turn off and the back on like it was on a timer. Wish it would have stayed on continuously. Beautiful home and memories created regardless.

Wonderful property

Wonderful property! The location is actually on a main road which does get full of traffic heading up to Big Bear Mountain but backing up to the golf course more than makes up for that because in Winter the golf course is closed, so you have all that extra space. The house has a nice open floor plan that is spacious, the kitchen is fabulous and very well stocked (although there were no wine glasses) . Having a large laundry room and the garage are definitely a huge plus!! The master bedroom and bathroom are great although the master bedroom did get quite cold with the large sliding door right near the bed, and you can’t raise the heat too much or the upstairs gets to hot. Overall very clean and great location to all of the amenities in Moonridge. Will definitely rent this place again!

Beautiful home with a great view

Beautiful home with a great view of the golf course and the mountains. The house is cozy and upscale. The master bedroom is very big and also has a great view. We tried to turn on the living room fireplace but we didn’t succeed. No big deal, it was not needed. The house is very close to the ski resorts and the zoo. We will come back.

Close to the slopes and beautiful view off the deck.

This cabin is great and we had plenty of room. One negative is that the fireplace isn't wood burning and puts off zero heat...so when the power was out for 6 hours we had no source of heat at all. Also, fireplace in master doesn't even work.
