Here is the complaint I filed last Sunday, 7/5. They said they would get back to me in 1-3 days, but they have not.
As your records should show, last Thursday, July 2nd was our check-in day. As we were on our way to the property, I got a call from your office saying that the washing machine was not working and could not be repaired in time for our three night stay. It was agreed that we would discuss compensation/reimbursement for this problem. (and it was a problem as our group was nine active people who could have used a washing machine.
Other problems that developed during our stay:
1) washing machine not working;
2) dishwasher worked, but the garbage disposal did not, so when we did a load of dishes the water would back up into both of the kitchen sinks, making them both disgusting and unusable;
3) We opened the entryway closet to find a messy pile of junk, making that closet unusable. I have photos.
4) The patio and all the patio furniture was covered with a thick layer of dust so we had to wipe down the table, chairs, railings and gas grill. I have photos
5) there were no dishtowels at all and only one roll of paper towels so we had to go purchase those items to clean off the patio and for use in the kitchen during our stay;
6) There were only four bath towels and four hand towels for nine people for a three night stay. Five more bath towels and some hand towels were delivered, but that is inadequate for nine people when the washing machine is not functioning.
7) The side yard where the exterior bedroom door opened was a pile of junk which included a trash can full of empty beer bottles and other trash. I have photos.
8) We were surprised to see the notice on the refrigerator saying that there was no trash collection, and we were responsible to haul all the trash to the local trash collector or face an unreasonable per-bag fee from you. That was an big inconvenience and that requirement should have been brought to my notice ahead of time.
9) Our check out time was 11am. However, this morning at 8:24am I received a text from your office saying another guest was coming so we were instructed to be out by 10am. In other words, the other guest were entitled to courtesy, but we were not.
10) I called your office to discuss at 2:49pm this afternoon. Your voice-mail system was an endless loop that did not connect to anyone.
Altogether, the customer service was really, really poor. The property was not ready for guests.
