Yeah there’s a big, “but.” So on check out day I received a message from destination big bear, stating my check out time was 10 am. My reservation and confirmation stated 11am so I was not ready and clearly in a rush to get out.
I send a message back stating my confirmation stated my check out was 11 am wi th a picture of my confirmation. Nonetheless the person messaging me back Stated I should’ve read the policy before hand, but that was quite not possible since I had to book the place before knowing the change in policy. Second it’s not up to me to update the check out time from what has been confirmed already. Anyways we went back and forth for a quite some time, and found childish and unprofessional.
To the credit of destination big bear a supervisor noticed the back and forth and did apologize to me and reassured me that my check out was at 11. Although I did appreciate the reach from management without asking for them, I did ultimately leave a bad taste in my mouth tenting from them.
With that being said the place was clean, and everything worked fine except for the professionalism of the customer service staff going back and forth with me.
