We stayed in mid-August and when we arrived, the house felt like an oven, about 88 degrees in the house. We quickly learned, there is no air conditioning! After the sun went down, the house cooled well with the windows open. The house is beautiful, but could use some TLC. The screen doors didn't fit/work properly, lights were not working in living room. We really wanted to sit on the porch and enjoy the sunset, but it was too hot and too bright with the sun aimed directly at the porch. There are steep stairs going to the first floor and third floor, and this may not work for elderly or those with bad knees. Would also suggest a more comfortable dining room table/chairs. In addition, please provide more supplies. We could not find any hand towels or kitchen towels in the kitchen. Overall, the house is beautiful and enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful Cabin with incredible views

We loved our stay in your cabin. The grill and kitchen were great for cooking. The porch with its outdoor table, porch swing, and fire pit was so wonderful. We loved this peaceful neighborhood in the mountains and loved the stunning vistas - our sunsets on the porch were magical!

The cabin was very cute and the bedrooms were comfortable but very very hot in the daytime. There are ceiling fans, and portable fans are provided, whch have to be on from morning to evening. Porch was great with views and furnishings, but did not have any umbrellas so we couldn't enjoy our lunch or dinners outside on the porch. Downstairs game room was missing the foosball tables as shown in the listing. Kitchen was nicely stocked, the dinning room and living room small but comfy. If I can recommend, change the bedrooms curtains to block sun/heat/light that can help from heating up the rooms. And add couple of large umbrellas outside that would be great. Thankful for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Great cabin and a beautiful view!

ABNB was very comfortable and the size of the home was perfect for our needs with 3 plus bedrooms. Appreciate the late check out as the owner was accommodating to our late start. Only comment is that the home could use some upgrades with coffee cups, more bath and kitchen towels and a couple of lighters for the fireplace. This should not be a problem if you know ahead of your arrival. May want to also be aware of the drive through for parking. Still overall experience was great.

Big Bear visit

Generally a great property! We struggled getting into and out of the icy driveway, due to the sharp angle and slope of the parking. That made it challenging for three cars to be parked there together, since skidding while trying to exit created a hazard for the other parked cars. Otherwise, it was a lovely property and perfect for our needs. We left a day early due to an impending snowstorm so as to avoid getting snowed in, but that’s on the weather, not the home!

Great Big Bear stay without winter snow

The VRBO home worked out well for our family get-away to the Big Bear Lake area. The rooms were all nice and the house had great views of the area and lake. The kitchen and supplies helped us share nightly dinners together without any challenges.

Majestic Ants

This was our second time staying at Majestic Views. This time around our stay was too eventful. As we arrived we were greeted by black ants outside in the balcony, kitchen, living room and down stairs bathroom. We were lucky to find Hot Shot ant spray under the sink.The last occupants weren’t so clean. We didn’t bother reporting it to the property manager as we were tired after a long drive and just wanted to relax. The television in the living room wasn’t functioning so we contacted the property manager. Brent showed up questioned why there were so many remotes and gave us one universal remote with new batteries. Brent had calls until 10:00pm due to being understaffed. The second night we had neighbors who had a party and they blocked the driveway. We contacted the property manager and emailed pictures. As the fans were on in each room you could literally see the dust particles floating down from the fan. The cabinet had a bag of old rice and a dirty oven mitten. This will probably the last time we stay at Majestic Views it wasn’t as clean and the condition of the property isn’t like it was last year.

We enjoyed the location. Not very clean. The house could use some TLC. We had just a few little hick ups. Upstairs shower doesn’t drain. Barbecue extremely dirty. Windows dirty. All screens to the three sliders are broken. Garbage disposal does not work. The weather was warm when we were there. The owner provided lots of fans!!
