Exceeded Expectations

This was probably our most pleasant rental that we've ever stayed in. We have a large family and travel with our dog so it's always a challenge to check off all of the boxes. This one exceeded our expectations. The pre-check in process was easy and made the actual check in go very smoothly. L.J. was thorough, professional and accommodating throughout it all. The house itself was perfect. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. There was nothing we needed that was not available. The great room was very large and everyone was able to spread out and be comfortable. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and stocked with very thoughtful amenities such as humidifiers which were very appreciated in the dry, cold weather we experienced while there. Bathrooms and laundry room were also well stocked. The yard was a dream for us traveling with a dog. She loves to be outside and the yard is fully enclosed with lots of squirrels and birds to stalk and chase. My family did not want to leave. Thank you L.J and family for an amazing mini vacation.

A fun family getaway

We had a great family vacation. The spacious open floor plan allowed anyone in the kitchen, living room and dining area, able to see and talk to each other anytime. The kitchen was even larger than it looked in the pictures, with a long wrap around counter behind the entire bar top area. The patio area is large as well with a lot of seating and of course we enjoyed bbq'ing. Having garage parking was also a plus for us. Easy & quick communication with our host is something I always value and LJ is a wonderful host. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This cabin felt like home.

This was our 3rd Christmas in Big Bear and had no interest in returning to the previous properties, but this cabin in The Exclusive Castle Glen Estates felt like home. There was more then enough space for our group of 10. We were able to eat at the table together, lounge in the living room together, and the kitchen had a lot of space to prepare meals. These simple things can prove difficult with a group our size. There were so many games in the office that we really didn't need to bring our own. Unloading and loading up were a breeze given that we had access to the garage and could just back into it to get the job done quickly. The electric fireplace made it cozy and no need for the wood we brought. The spa was wonderful after a day on the sloops. All the neighbors were very friendly during our walks. The fenced back yard was wonderful so that our pup could do her business off leash with us there with her. Always supervise your pups even in a fenced backyard, coyotes can jump up to 8ft. Big Bear Mountain was only a 10 minute drive and any other store we needed was less than that. We will definitely be returning!!

Great Place for Family Thanksgiving

We had a great week in Big Bear at this large and well furnished home. We only had 2 minor issues which were quickly addressed by the owner who was very accessible. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and we all enjoyed the living room for the TV, karaoke, charades, and a 1,000 piece puzzle.

Beautiful and comfortable mountain cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this house very much - one of the best VRBO experiences to date! The house was clean, warm, stocked with games, cooking gear, plenty of towels and blankets. It's very conveniently located and a great place to come back to after a day of snow activities. The view is gorgeous, the beds are comfy, and there's plenty of space for family and friends. Such a gracious host

LJ was such a gracious host. Very responsive, hospitable and understanding. His home was exceptional! Great location, good space, clean, had everything we needed for it to feel like a home. The home and neighborhood are lovely. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a snowy weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook all meals. Wonderful house in great neighborhood

We went up for our kids first weekend in the snow. The house is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are a great size, especially the kids bedroom. We enjoyed the backyard and the open space behind the backyard- it was great for sledding! The jacuzzi was a lot of fun, too. I liked that it was in a nice neighborhood, too. Lord of beautiful homes. We would definitely come back!

Big bear rental

The property is nicely kept and cozy. The only negatives would be the spider webs throughout and many broken lights needing replacement. The house and sheets/towels smelled so strongly of fragrance and it was definitely overwhelming and unpleasant. Hopefully they can use better products to clean between stays. Otherwise, would recommend.

Love Love Love

Very happy with our stay in this home. Really loved the atmosphere and the neighborhood everything about this home. Very beautiful home, decor, love the design, backyard, snow in the backyard for the kids. Really looking forward to visiting thus home again next year this time for the summer.
