Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, dog friendly with a dog run for our dog, responsive property manager, but unfortunately not 5 star because there was lots of cobwebs and dust, the kitchen drawers and cabinets had crumbs in them. This is a lovely property but for the price we paid we expected it to be cleaner. The shower head fell off when we first turned it on. The property manager offered to come fix it on Thanksgiving but we said we could use the other shower and he could wait until we checked out. Property manager was helpful, but it needs a deep cleaning

Outstanding Lakefront Property!

Since it was just my wife and I, it was great to find a smaller place on the lake, but it's actually much bigger than it looks in the pictures and closer to the lake than I thought. A beautiful property well outfitted and everything went as smoothly as possible. We will definitely be returning!

First anniversary getaway

We had a great time. It was just me and my wife and our six month old baby. This house would be adequate for a family with no problem. The property manager was very helpful and we appreciated it.

Cute cabin

We had a great stay. Super cute cabin with a beautiful view. Beds were a little small for adults and the hot water was a little spotty. But overall a nice place and Checkin was really easy.

Blissful lakeside cabin

We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin. Close to everything. We walked to the Village, hit the slopes and relaxed in a warm jacuzzi. My family will definitely stay at this lakeside cabin in the future.

Great cabin

We had a wonderful long weekend here. Everything was as advertised. Nice view of the lake. Great hot tub. Short drive to Snow Summit. We’d definitely come back.

Great Aframe!

Really loved it there. So pretty with all the snow. Had everything we needed and would love to go back. It WAS a bit pricey for the amount of beds there are/a suggestion would be to put bunks where the futon is and maybe a king or queen bed in main floor bedroom. Thank you! ❤️🎿

Beautiful Views!

The property had a rustic feel and was very cozy. The kids enjoyed the loft area. It was like a tree house with a lake view for them. They had most of what we needed to cook. we're a family that likes to cook. The only issue with cleanliness was the amount of dust on the beams. One was above the stove. They just need to dust a bit better. The check-in location as a little confusing, but its nothing you cannot figure out. We found the parking situation a bit frustrating. Its strange that there is a 2 car maximum for a place that sleeps 8. There was more than enough room for all three cars without getting in the way of snow plows or being anywhere near the road. We had to park Nana's car in a public lot and drive by to check on it every day. Not a task we wanted while on vacation. There was an outdoor light out but it was fixed while we were there which was good. My brother found the Jacuzzi a bit clouded for his taste but it smelled clean so we did get in a few times. The front office responds very quickly to any calls or concerns! They had great service! They seem to always be available for any questions. Overall, its a cozy place to stay! And the View of the lake is beautiful!

Great location, right on the lake. Close to shopping, skiing, fun zones for the kids. The place is a little dated but nice, very cozy. We were 8 and sleeping worked out fine

Great location, perfect for family.

Lovely location. I could have sat and looked at the lake all day, but the town was walking distance and there was plenty to do. Everything was as described. My family had a great time. We booked hoping for snow, the weather didn’t cooperate, but no one went home disappointed. Highly recommend!

Magical Stay!

My family enjoyed a fantastic getaway at this wonderful cabin for a birthday weekend! Cozy rooms, spiral staircase, foosball table and games, outdoor decks, great kitchen, jacuzzi, and beautiful views right on the Lake - this place had it all. The Big Bear Lakefront Cabins company was very accommodating! Thank you for a magical time - we will definitely be back!

Perfect Mountain Escape

This was such a beautiful spot for a little mountain getaway. Great location. Loved being right on the lake. The fall colors were amazing too! We would love to come back to this cabin again!

Perfect Escape!

We had a great stay here over Thanksgiving. Plenty of beds, kitchen items, bedding and towels. We were surprised the living room furniture was pretty beat up but was still comfortable. Not enough eating space, but we made it work. Downstairs was really cold some nights but tolerable with the bedding provided. View, hot tub and location were awesome! Would totally stay again 100%.

Weekend Getaway

It twas a lovely cabin. Everything was perfect. The property management company was great to work with - very responsive. My only suggestion is that the signage at the property management company be more prominent. It was a little hard to find as it is inside a spa/hot tub store. Perhaps I missed earlier instructions advising this - it really wasn't a big deal and their excellent customer service more than made up this early snafu.

A-frame charm on the lake

I came with my wife, dog, parents and siblings to relax and escape the heat and i was thoroughly impressed. the location felt secluded but was very near town. the lake is steps away and if you're not a swimmer there's a hottub with a worldclass view to relax in or stay dry on the back deck or even stay inside and soak up the scenery through the huge windows. despite the old-school charm of an a-frame everything inside was refreshingly modern without losing the comfort and beauty of a mountain cabin. was hard to leave, i can't wait to come back.

A Magical Stay

We spent 4 nights there. It was June gloom overcast in LA, but we drove above the clouds to sunny Big Bear days on the water! It was so beautiful. Loved sitting on the decks, sitting on the dock, and some dips in the hot tub with a great view. We brought our own corn hole to play on the sandy area, which was perfect. And sand toys for my 2 year old. We cooked most meals there and it had almost all the items we needed. (We brought our own good knives, spices, oils, etc.) And the location is phenomenal. Obviously it being on the lake, but also a quick drive to the Village. Any issues were small: --The floor didn't seem to have been mopped before we came, or at least could have been better cleaned. It was gritty. --A number of the light fixtures were difficult to figure out how they worked (we never figured out one of them) and we wished there was some guiding signage, a simple fix. --The bunk bed design in the main floor room is best for kids. It became a joke how often the two adults who used it kept badly banging our heads on it. And the other adults kept banging their heads on the spiral stairs on the bottom floor. We at least had fun with the total house head bump tally. --Bedding stuff wasn't our fave. If I went again I'd just bring my own pillow and duvet to sleep comfortably. But the pros of the house far outweighed anything else. We had THE BEST TIME. A magical place, truly. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Missing items

- why we have to check in at the property management for and I had to go, this is extra loss of time specially with snow - missing shovels to clear snow at driveway, we were stuck! - no shampoo, no soap for shower - no washer no dryer accessible (we really needed that cause we were soaking wet after the heavy rain on Saturday) - not printed welcome binder with the instructions, not everyone wants to read emails and get apps. - no bard games? no cards? - we have to take our trash??? so what is the cleaning fee for? I would not recommend this place nor I would stay again there. Very disappointed.
