Great location - very cozy on smaller size cabin - very clean - nice kitchen - great back yard with wonderful jacuzzi . Was very chilly this time of year outside so spent time by the fire inside and unfortunately limited time outdoors until last couple days of trip ! Loved the alpine zoo within walking distance ! Great communication with the host !

Relaxing

The cabin was the perfect size for 2. The provided feed for the critters was fun to sit out and watch them along with the beautiful view of the trees in the front. The backyard was roomy as well with a hot tub and darts to play. There were many other amenities but our time went by too fast doing activities around the city, to enjoy it all.

Great little house

We loooved our stay, Michelle managing the house was great and very clear in directions. To be fair our only comments are: 1) the white lights need to be switched out for warm color lights 2) we wish the back yard would be fenced in all the way for our dogs, we thought it was but it wasn’t so we needed to keep the dogs in the house all the time. Other then that,great little get away. Loooved the hot tub

Thank you for hosting our stay. The property was perfect for me and my fiancé. Very nice place for us to get out of the city and reset. Everything about this property was perfect ,size for two. The back yard was set up nice and the jacuzzi was great. I will be definitely coming back in the future .thanks again

Loved the stay! Everything needed was there and accessible. We took the bikes out way more than expected and had such a good time…we’re gonna buy some for ourselves. Location is great, and the host was unbelievably kind and answered questions immediately. Highly recommend!!!

Quick Getaway

Our host was very attentive and flexible. We were snowed in and she was checking in on us and arranged for someone to clear out the snow/ice in order to allow us to depart. The property was well maintained and very cozy. This property comes highly recommended!

Amazing Anniversary

The cabin was in excellent condition. It had great amenities and lots of supplies. The hot tub was fantastic! The location was excellent. We loved all the wildlife. Michelle was extremely responsive.

WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND

this cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway for my birthday. Michelle answered all questions quickly. Our trip ended on a Sunday and as I was getting ready for work Tuesday I noticed my necklace was missing. I texted Michelle and she went above and beyond and found my necklace. It was a fabulous getaway and iam so thankful for her efforts to mind my necklace! We will be coming back!

Home away from home

Hubby and I came for his birthday. This place was perfect. There are so many amenities on site. Its clean and everything is provided, except your personals. The neighborhood is quiet, and its close enough to town, if you forgot something. The attention to detail is on point.

Weekend getaway

Loved that they provide kurig k cups and a bottle of good wine, towels, blankets, and all other kitchen supplies. We enjoyed the hot tub in the peacful back yard, fire pit outside was nice too, and feeding the critters. Rode the e bikes around and went to the zoo and oktoberfest. It is a very peacful and cozy place to stay for a couples weekend. We really enjoyed this place. It is near slopes but not near the village or at least i dont think it was, close to zoo and to other amenities like vons and starbucks. Also, the owner responded to us in the middle of the night for something that we needed and "Handy Manny" was amazing and came right away. Great place to stay on our favorite mountain.

40th Birthday getaway

It was perfect for my boyfriend and I and he is a hard guy to win over. He loved being about to barbecue and we both enjoyed the jacuzzi and the new fire pit the owner installed. The gifts that were left for us (champagne and wine) were a great added touch. We loved that it was tucked away and not around too many people. Everything was wonderful and we're talking about going back again.

"A Little Bit of Heaven on Earth"

My husband & I stayed the week of Thanksgiving 2021. From the moment we arrived at the "Sugar Shack" we fell in love with the cabin & property. We were graciously greeted by the property manager who introduced us to the workings of the cabin & the local community. The cabin is beautifully decorated, very clean, cozy, warm & welcoming. It has everything you need for an enjoyable stay, from all the little extras to the necessities. Even a delicious bottle of wine was awaiting us. Our stay was a very relaxing & we loved being so close to nature. We'll definitely make a return visit.
