Imagine waking up in a treehouse?! That’s what it felt like. My hubby and I loved staying in this beautiful cabin. Had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful (maybe extra because we did a mid-week stay?).And don’t forget your yoga mat because the back deck was the perfect place for stretching and breathing. Paul was excellent at communicating beforehand and the cabin has easy to follow instructions on how to start the fireplace, heater/ac, etc… Due to health benefits we did all of our eating there utilizing all of the kitchen amenities and it was perfect. Hope to go back soon! Will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends for their romantic getaways.

We love the decor - it was very thoughtfully cultivated. Very close to Arrowhead village so enjoyed that. Parking easy. very spacious. We'll be back and recommend the place to friends and family that want an intimate welcoming home.

It was an exceptional stay. The cottage had an amazing mountain feel, very tastefully done interiors. I have never seen a vacation home so well marked with instructions and labels for each cabinet, device, control etc. It felt like a virtual help always there for you.It is a compact cozy stay for a couple. Snow during our stay was totally unexpected but when it did, the bed which is at the same level as the large windows overlooking the landscape, had the best view to laze all day, enjoying the rains followed by snow covered trees.The host is easy to communicate with and helpful . We will definitely go back again. One thing which we wished the property had was a hot tub.

This cozy cabin for 2 was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We lit the fire each evening and enjoyed a glass of wine on the comfy sofa. The kitchen was fully equipped with just about anything you'd need to cook with. Bed was very comfortable and we loved waking up surrounded by trees! Hosts were great and checked in to make sure everything was good for us. They left nice touches like Hershey chocolates, lip balm and a bottle opener to remind us our stay in their cabin. Location was perfect for getting to the lake, village and local hikes. We would definitely stay there again.

This immaculate, cozy, beautiful cabin is more house from the outside but cabin on the inside. That said, I've never stayed in a cabin with a kitchen so well equipped and every detail meticulously addressed. Instructions for all aspects of your stay are not only in the initial email instructions, they're also in the cabin. Plenty of resources to find activities in the area and a wonderful book on both the history of the area and on the massive refurbishment of the cabin. The host literally called me a day after my stay to make sure everything was great. He clearly cares deeply about not only the property but the satisfaction of those who stay there. I could not recommend this property more highly!

This is the BEST VRBO experience we have ever had. The attention to detail and communication with the host was terrific. The cabin is beautiful and so warm and inviting. Waking up among the trees makes you feel like you are in a tree house. It is luxurious in every way! The storied history makes it so much fun and the hosts have documented it beautifully.

I had the great pleasure of staying at the “Hershey” house for 2 1/2 weeks and I was stunned by this beautiful cabin. It was apparent that the original home had been impeccably redesigned and upgraded with great care and artistry. This cozy cabin in the woods has gorgeous warm knotty pine wood walls, a beautifully designed stone fireplace and comfortable, rustic antique furniture. The stone and tile work throughout the house is exquisitely crafted with an arrowhead design and small squares of gold artistically placed. The colors of the beautiful kitchen tile counters complement the warm glow of the rest of the cabin. The bed is very comfortable and surrounded on two sides by large plate glass windows that showcase an up close view of the forest, birds and squirrels; a great place to read and drink coffee/tea. The kitchen is well organized with a great assortment of labeled kitchen ware and beautiful new appliances. The owners were very pleasant, responsive and helpful in the reservation process and during my stay at the cabin. Helpful instructions are placed throughout the home (i.e. the fireplace, tv). There is a beautiful and interesting picture book that describes the history and restoration of the home, and binders full of information about the area. By far, this is the most beautiful and comfortable vacation home I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy. For me it was heavenly, and I truly hope to return as often as I can!
