We arrived to a beautiful house just as advertised. Then the problems started. A few hours after arrival we noticed new mouse droppings that had not been present when we first got there. Then we found out the oven does not turn on, and it could not be fixed despite three maintenance people coming to the house. The trash compactor did not seem to work either, and the house doesn't come with the standard large trash bins. Then in the middle of cooking a large meal for multiple families, the sink backed up. Then more mouse droppings. The ownership team responded quickly when we reported these problems but couldn't fix anything.

Communication and checkin was so easy. Really appreciated quick responses when I had a question. The house was beautifully appointed. Large kitchen, stocked with lots of kitchen utensils to make a couple of family meals. The kitchen was spacious enough so that we were not bumping into each other. Common areas were lovely respite spots. The home theater was utilized the most and probably one of the highlights of our stay. Wish our stay was longer so that we could have used the spa more. Bedrooms were lovely and we enjoyed the large space so that family members could enjoy private time. We had beautiful views from the balconies and if you’re a birder, this is a good spot to observe feathered friends. Truly enjoyed a relaxing family vacation.

Fantastic getaway

Our mother recently passed away, so it’d been a rough couple of weeks for the family and we all just needed to get away. This was the perfect place, it was spacious so we could do our own thing, but also had plenty of things we could do as a family (theater room, pool table!). The view was incredible and the walk into town was really not that bad, big bear is a beautiful place. This place was wonderful for wanting to enjoy town, walk in nature, or just stay in. Absolutely perfect! My family was so in love with this place that we agreed it down would try to make this trip every year and we hope we’ll be able to get this cabin every time!

Great summer property in Big Bear

The house is huge! Lots of space to spread out both indoors and outdoors on the property. The movie room and jacuzzi were a hit, although the jacuzzi does create a loud humming / vibration in the adjacent bedroom. Walkable to the village (there is a curvy hill road without sidewalks, caution needed). The property is close to mountain biking at Snow Valley and Summit, the lake, restaurants and shopping. The bedroom set up was tricky for our family due to ages, I think changing bunk beds to double full or queen beds, and adding additional double queen beds in another room, or another king room option, would be helpful. Also the interior lighting needs improvement in the kitchen as it was very dim, and there are some small maintenance issues (ceiling fans, light switches) that could use attention. Couches in the living area are well worn and could use replacement. Overall, a great stay.

Big Bear Springavaganza

Spend great times with family and friends. The cabin was a great choice for our stay. Cabin was big enough for our crowd size where the movie theater took over our children's attention and enjoyed their movie experience with their friends. Great location and most of beautiful views of the lake.

Great spot!

We loved the property and would rent again. The only thing we could think of that was different than the pictures was the downstairs bedroom shows two queen beds but there was only one. Otherwise we felt very comfortable with our 14 people and one dog who had so much room to roam on the 1.5 acre fenced property! We had a great time!

Wonderful multi-generational family vacation

Three generations had a blast at the property! House was even better than described on the listing, with plenty of room for everyone. The location was convenient to town but still secluded enough to feel special. Highlights of the home include hot tub and media room. Highly recommended for large family or groups of friends looking for a wonderful place to stay in Big Bear!

Thanksgiving getaway

We had an amazing time here. This is one of the few instances where I can honestly say the property was better in person than it was in the photos! Teenagers in our party loved having their own space downstairs with the adjoining movie theater room. The view from the main level living room area is so amazing. We loved sitting by the fire and looking out over the village or at the lake. We will likely rent this place again.

Great place to stay with family and friends

Great place to stay with family and friends, lots of space and amenities to keep everyone entertained, movie theater is awesome too, and the views of the lake are beautiful from the deck/jacuzzi. They are very strict on the number of cars allowed on the driveway so if u have a bigger group/more than 6 cars there is a public parking down the street nearby.

Great Family Vacation Home!

The home was exactly as pictured. Very comfortable for our 4 generation family vacation. The three levels allowed everyone to have a little space yet big enough for as all to hang out together in the family/dining room. The game room, pool room and theater room were a hit as well. It is very close to the village and the lake. You can walk to both but it is a steep trek back up to the property. We enjoyed our time here and if we ever head back to Big Bear we would definitely stay here again!!

Big Bear Fun

We had a great time here! The Village is so close, we could walk to dinner! We took the kids to Boulder Bay to swim and enjoyed as much as possible even during COVID. The cabin was so much fun! We watched movies in the theater, the kids played pool and we all loved the jacuzzi! Thanks for a great stay!

So close to the village!

Great house, sleeps a lot of people very comfortably, highly recommended! One tip - the driveway is MUCH steeper than it looks in the listing photos. Could be an issue on snowy/icy days.
