Felt at home here and enjoyed our stay, I just wish I had known that there is no way into the house at all without stairs. I brought my 70 yr old mother. She was only able to make it into garage, down to a second living room bedroom combo which also had stairs for her just to get to a bathroom, so she was excluded from the rest of the house. There is one more bedroom living room with its own bathroom combo that has 17 steep stairs to get too then a few more stairs to get to the other three bedrooms which share one bathroom with super deep tub/shower combo so have your knees in working order for this home. Some windows would not close & old food garbage had fallen behind the nightstands, I only noticed because I had to move one to plug in a fan. I did call about the windows not closing since a jackhammer (not anyone's fault) was being used next door but maintenance was out in a flash and shut them. Great neighborhood, we walked each night, one bathroom is in the pool table room which is a bit odd since no bedroom around but a pretty jetted one with more stairs. lol We used the game room, tv's could have used some instructions as we never figured out some of them & maintenance didn't know how to get them on or use surround sound. The top two bedrooms have outdoor patios that due to the spiderwebs, we couldn't use. Not simple spider webs of 5 or fewer but something out of a horror film in the room with a queen bed in it. The bunk bed bedroom patio was not that bad. Not anyone's fault, just you are in the woods near water so it is not city life. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub but its cover is not on the arms so you have to manhandle the heavy thing on and off, takes two people. Ours at home is almost like that, we have one arm that works. The beds were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was fun to cook in and we even used the fireplace in the living room our last night. I would stay again but just can't bring my mom. I bet most homes are built like this here, I just had no clue and it is hard to tell from photos. I had deliveries from DoorDash with no issues too which was great. You have to bag up all your trash and take it with you...ALL of it when you leave to a city common dump place, so be prepared for that too. I did not know what the nest controllers did or how to use them as it said the place has no AC so maybe for floors? I really did enjoy the home and will stay again. I hope the lake's water level rises soon.
